Delicious hot dogs. I especially liked the chili on the hot dogs. We also tried the dill pickle cheese curds which were tasty!
Highly recommend the chocolate iced coffee. It is simple but refreshing and the sorbetto was excellent in the drink.

Great stop traveling I-40! I have a soft spot for converted gas stations. Got the Cubano and the chili cheese fries. Chili was awesome, all meat and little sauce and seasoned well. Sports peppers were a nice touch. Cuban was great with enough meat and the right amount of spreads and cheese. Pickles were a little sweet for me, but that is a personal preference. Great job!

Had the Chicago dog on the patio with my ?. The dog was pretty authentic. They use Viena dogs, had the right relish and peppers.

A nice quaint family owned hot dog spot in Holbrook, AZ with great service and friendly atmosphere. The restrooms were clean and the Italian ice hit the spot on a hot desert day! The battered fries light and crispy. Take the turn and enjoy it!

Great place to grab lunch when seeing national parks and lodging at the wigwams.

This is a cool place, as it seems to be a former gas station. We ordered a Maxwell St. Polish sausage (served in a bun with grilled onions, mustard and sport peppers), a Greek salad with falafel, Greek fries (fries with feta, banana peppers and Greek dressing), a Cowboy chili dog and a regular hot dog. We tried the prickly pear cactus lemonade as a drink.

The food was very good! Don't miss out on the polish sausage (although I removed the tiny sport peppers). The fries are excellent as they are the ones that seem slightly breaded and fried crispy. We demolished the Greek fries! The prickly pear lemonade was not to my liking (although, I admit that I don't know what it's supposed to taste like) but my young daughter liked it.

The service is friendly and the food came out at a reasonable time. There is scant seating inside, but plenty of seating outside under the gas station canopy.

Don't hesitate to visit Colonel Mustard's! He committed the crime of great gastronomy, with a skillet in the gas station! (See what I did there?)

Stopped by this little hotdog place in Holbrook and WILL be back. Food was amazing. Hotdogs were perfection. You want that traditional Chicago style dog? Look no further. We are coming back to get one. We did two basic dogs for the kids and a chili dog! The chili dog was delicious and the fries crispy and hot!

I am married to a Chicagoan. Not the Chicago suburbs, Chicago. He would not have missed a beat with the menu at this fantastic spot in the middle of the Arizona desert. Vienna Beef Chicago Dog, Italian Beef, Gyros, Maxwell Street Polish…
I was driving through Holbrook on my way to the Petrified Forest National Park and spotted this cool looking drive-in on the main drag in Holbrook. I only chose the dog because they have a Vienna Beef sign out front.
Great Chicago Dog - ‘snap’ on the Vienna, correct relish, sport peppers, mustard Only, steamed poppy seed bun. Perfect. I also had crinkle fries which were generous, smoking hot and cooked perfectly at the right temperature.
I spoke to the owner, she was very nice. If I had only believed the menu (“home-made”) Italian Beef. I would have eaten the Beef instead of the dog! Her husband really does make his own Italian Beef.
Do not miss this restaurant when you are anywhere near Holbrook. AZ.
