11/10 experience!! My fiancé and I were able to visit during our trip to Napa with her family and could not have had a better experience. By FAR our favorite winery! Our host, Daniel gave us a private tour through the vineyard by ATV which was absolutely gorgeous, finishing at a small cabin towards the top of the mountain with beautiful, intimate views. We had our tasting there which was absolutely incredible, the Rian and Buriana being our favorites. Throughout tasting Daniel provided a plethora of incredible snacks from charcuterie, to bread with vineyard grown olive oil (must buy!!), and finished with the PERFECT steak. Views, wine, and food aside, Daniel was the best host we had throughout any of our tasting visits in the valley. Incredibly warm and accommodating, making us all feel at home. If you're coming to Napa, Cimarossa is a must visit. No better place to get the dream-perfect wine country experience with incredible, incredible wine.

We had the tremendous honor of visiting Cimarossa during our trip to Napa in July 2024.

In hindsight, we may have been a bit overambitious, touring 12 vineyards during our visit. Many of our stops were among the region's most rare, renowned, and high-end wineries. While focusing on exclusive Napa legends wasn’t exactly our intent, we were curious to experience these celebrated spots firsthand.

Before this trip, we knew little about Cimarossa beyond a glowing recommendation from a friend in Annapolis, MD, where we live. But without a doubt, this small, lesser-known winery instantly became our favorite. The land, the wines, and the people embodied the very best of Napa.

Our host, Daniel H., was everything you'd hope for—passionate, knowledgeable, and kind (as you'd expect from any top vineyard). But what truly made the experience memorable was his genuine interest in us. He wanted to understand what mattered to us in the wine world, but he didn’t stop there. He asked about our hometown, our work, places we hoped to visit, and even shared offers to connect us with people along the way. We swapped family stories and never felt rushed. Instead, we were encouraged to try "a little more of this or that," savoring each pour alongside delightful snacks. And we did all of this while soaking in one of the most beautiful views Howell Mountain has to offer.

If this hidden gem isn’t on your itinerary the next time you visit Napa, you’ll be missing out on pure bliss.
By the way, we ordered what felt like a metric ton of wine during our travels. As shipments from the vineyards we toured began arriving back home, we couldn’t have been more excited when Cimarossa’s box appeared on our doorstep. Well done, team—we're so grateful for you.

We had such a fantastic experience at Cimarossa! While exploring Howell Mountain, we took a scenic drive and found ourselves at Cimarossa. We arrived unexpectedly for them and didn’t expect a tour, but we had such a warm welcome and felt so fortunate that Daniel was available to give us a tour of the property and wine tasting! It was clear that he was very knowledgeable but also friendly and easy to chat with. The wines we sampled were incredible and paired with the most beautiful view!! It was our most favorite vineyard in Napa! Thank you so much! We are loving having Cimarossa wines at home!

One of the best experiences we’ve had in our multiple trips to Napa! Started with a tour of the vineyards in a 4x4 as we went up to the small cottage to taste the incredible wines that showcase the different sections of the beautiful property. We also had a chance to try some of the olive oil from the olive trees on site, and it blew us away. While we were tasting, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dino, and had a great chat about the vineyard.

Overall, such an amazingly unique experience from the larger wineries along the Silverado Trail and St. Helena Highway. If you’re looking for something more personal and some incredible Howell Mountain wines, this is your spot!

Huge shoutout to our amazing host Daniel as well! He made the experience extra special and we will always think of Cimarossa fondly thanks to his wonderful hospitality. Quite possibly, the best host we’ve had in all our trips to Napa!

Absolutely one of our favorite wineries we visited! Daniel was outstanding, sharing his knowledge of the property history, delicious wines and proper pairings of wine and small bites to showcase the different bottles. 100% must experience this amazing little gem!!!

A gem of Howell mountain. Daniel was great. Took us on ATV to check out the property and then tasted the most amazing Cabernet Sauvignon of our trip. The location is remote, probably should go with a driver instead of an Uber. Highly recommend.

Cimarosa Wines was a wonderful experience. From the time we arrived to the time we left Daniel, our host, treated us like family. I loved the adventure of driving there and seeing the beautiful area where is located. The wines and the olive oil are delicious. I highly recommend this winery to all.
