I moved to Cienega when I ended my sophomore year in a VERY small town, I picked cienega because of its size and I was curious. My junior year started and the staff rolled out a red carpet on the first day for incoming students! All the teachers were high fiving us and cheering for us and it was a great start! The teachers love their students and work hard to make them pass, especially the seniors. They are "c2g" (committed to graduate) and they encourage students to work hard and pass, if they don't then the teachers give them opportunities like retract, study hall, CATS (extra tutoring time) and etc. The sports area of the school works very hard, I've done cross country and track and I loved it! I graduated a few weeks ago and im glad that I got the opportunity of graduating from Cienega 🙂

I had five young adults go to Cienega. They were/ are Student Athletes. The experience with staff, teachers and coaches overwhelmingly positive. My young adults would agree Cienega is one of the best high schools in Arizona.

All children deserve the same opportunity. This cienega made it clear that a child coming from a school on the southside was not good enough for them. I heard such good things about this school so when I became completely disabled with epilepsy we moved from our home and our lives to vail. Unfortunately this school took advantage of a parent who is disabled I did not support the child. My child will never return to Cienega

During my experience here I felt only a few actually truly care about my future. A few of those were Mrs. Matsushino, Mrs. Carrier, Ms. Romeo, Mr. Darling, GySgt Lara, Mrs Newman and a few more.
