I'd give it 4.5 stars if Google would let me, but it was an overall good experience, so I'll stick with 5.

My partner and I dined at the last 2023 On The Farm series "Farm Dinner with Friends." The atmosphere and food were wonderful. It was nice this event was BYOB, but they also offer other dinners with wine pairings (for a higher price). I normally don't say this when paying a decent amount of money for a meal, but for $125 per person, I wish there was more food!

It was a colder night, and we had to ask the staff to turn on the outdoor heat lamps and lower the curtains to keep warm. After that, it felt very comfortable. Unfortunately the seating is less to be desired - very small wooden chairs on gravel and our table had 8 seats that barely fit. But that's farm life, right?

You have to walk up a fairly steep hill that's half paved, half gravel. You can be dropped off at the top of the hill if you have mobility issues. Also, there's only one bathroom - a modern outhouse - and typically a line to wait since their events cater to 60 people.

Overall, a wonderful experience! My most critical feedback is to offer more food for the price of dinner.

Over the years, I have been to a number of different events at the farm and they all have been a fantastic and unique experiences! These events have extended beyond dinner, including fun classes like Tomato school... Pepper school... Etc! πŸ˜„

The food is always highlighting what is in season on the farm, and executed flawlessly. The setting could not be more idyllic.

I could not rave more and recommend attending an event on the farm! Support local... eat & imbibe well doing it! ☺️

Enjoyed a simply spectacular evening with Chef Brian Hammond at the helm for Churchview Farm's chef's dinner series. The food, with cocktail and wine pairings for each course, was imaginatively and beautifully prepared and stunningly plated! Truly a magical night!

This was our second visit to the farm and as expected, it was wonderful. This particular one was a collab between Chefs Csilla and Zozula of 40 North. The menu was beautifully curated with fresh ingredients incorporated from the garden. The Allora group, who deal with Italian wine, had wonderful wines which were a great accompaniment to each of the courses. My absolute favorites were the Borsht, the nasturtium butter crostini and the zucchini pancakes. Fran the dog and Henry the duck make for an all around entertaining dinner.
Tara and the rest of the crew have made this little farm into such a remarkable space that eating dinners out here is always a treat.

Churchview Farm is a sweet and dreamy place to spend a day or evening. Tara and her staff have thoughtfully considered every detail and have created a darling respite. Being at Churchview and strolling the grounds feels like a mini-holiday. Take in all of the flowers, plants, perma-culture, breezes, sunsets, all of it. Pet the cutest farm pup, Fran. Feed the goats. I mean, it's adorable and magical.

Eat an incredible meal featuring organic food grown right there made by amazing local chefs. The whole experience is so relaxing and feels like a real treat.

Tara and Chef Csilla and their team are killing the game with the beautiful experience they provide for their guests. The staff is always on point, friendly, and knowledgeable. Adorable touches abound everywhere.

Churchview and Tara are magical. There's a reason why their events sell out crazy fast. This is one of the sweetest places I've ever spent time and I love that it was created by a fierce and amazing woman farmer/entrepreneur with a vision.

My wife and I attended our first Pop-Up Dinner at Churchview Farm LLC on July 19, 2022. We were impressed with the setting but were disappointed in the meal and wine pairings. The vegetables were tasty however, the wine selection/pour quantities and the protein (chicken leg) were not what we expected for a $140 meal.

If I could give negative stars I would... I just got done eating a $125 dinner where i wouldnt have paid $5 for it. Im currently sitting down the road at Backdraft as I need some real food after that pathetic attempt of a meal. A local farm to table experience apparently means Prawns from the "Mon". Really? Prawns? I didnt partake in them, but our group and other groups all said they were mushy and not very good. I'm allergic to shellfish (what local farm to table in pittsburgh would have shellfish) So we asked beforehand for a substitute and they brought me out another salad with beans on it. I expected at least another protein substitute, but nope... Just a whole vegetarian meal for $125. If you want to come here, please stop and eat dinner beforehand... Trust me you will be disappointed.

Adorable farm, the farm to table dinner series is fresh, vibrant, and a lovely experience every time. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable, the owner and her farm are so cute, and the chefs are always top notch. Buy tickets the day they're released for spring thru fall dinners.
