Ms. Velita was a wonderful hostess as we toured the farm accompanied by Bo the dog and two of Nigeria dwarf does, learning about the many varieties of chickens, meeting the sweet Boer goats, feeding the lovely pigs, witnessing the business of the bees and falling in love with the baby goats 🐐. We picked Meyer lemons and left with two lbs. of honey and a dozen ducks eggs Intent on baking lemon tyme pound cake with lemon glaze. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. We will be back with friends and family 👪

Wow! Peace, bliss, happiness! We were on the lookout for a place that doesn't pop up on all the booking sites. A little bit of research led us to book at Acres and what a decision that was. Stayed at the Colby Cottage atop a cliff overlooking the rest of the farm and the valley. Beautiful large tastefully done up room with a fabulous sit-out. Since there are only 3 cottages laid out, that too quite far from each other, this is one place where you won't meet anyone else staying in the property unless you meet them at the dining hall. The breakfast is incredible with fresh ricotta cheese and eggs available. The rest of the meals are basic Indian home style food which we had only once. There are many options outside the farm and is a nice break from the same food. The farm is big and lush with the occasional porcupine running across. Mansoor is an amiable gentleman and lovely company during the meals. All in all, an excellent experience and would love to go back again.
