This Lavender Farm is a special experience. Our tour was arranged ahead of time and was educational as well as fun. We saw beautiful fields of Purple lavender and were escorted around the farm by the owner to see the processing equipment, cutting and drying process. We learned how to tell if it is really dry enough to use to make oil and to use for cooking purposes. The friendly "Lavendor Retriever" dog at the farm was our companion. We then went into the barn where the bunches were hanging to dry and visited the stand where we were happy to purchase some aromatic 100% essential oil and some soothing balm that may help arthritic joint soreness. I can vouch for the calming oil. I put 2-3 drops on a cotton ball and place it under my pillow case for an aid to relaxing at bedtime. Works for me. I also made some scrumptious Lavender cookies with the crushed buds of lavender. They also show up at most of the local Lavender Festivals so it is convenient to buy refills.

Purchased about 3 year's ago Healing spray & Healing butter and it works wonders for any type of pain from my (5yr old) grandson's growing pain or scrapes to myself having neck/tension pain, hand pain etc etc. A small amount goes a long way. Getting ready to make another purchased.
