Really enjoyed this tour - very informative and fun to see the cotton in the field. My family has been in Casa Grande for decades, and I always saw the cotton fields but didn’t know anything about how it is grown and processed. Glad to support a family-owned farm!! We need them to survive!

We were pleasantly surprised what a great time we had on this tour. Nancy was so full of information. We all learned so much about cotton farming and local agriculture complete with a "hay ride" tour around the farm. I recommend this tour to everyone, visitors and locals.

The tour of Caywood Farms is an excellent way to increase your knowledge of the cotton industry. Nancy's presentation with slides and photos has a lot of information about the whole (not just the farm part) cotton industry in an interesting and orderly manner. She explains how the process works from when the seed is planted and grows, harvested, and processed through the gin. She tells about all the many uses of the cotton and the seed. She then guides the group around some of the farm equipment explaining how it works. The tour is completed with a hayride into an actual cotton field and makes a stop where participants are allowed to examine the cotton plants and actually pick some cotton. Nancy tailors the tour so that it is interesting to young and old alike. Everyone will enjoy this tour.

Went on tour with Nancy Caywood today. It was fantasic. She is incredibly knowledgeable and we are from the north it was only 10 years ago that I saw a cotton field. She taught us ever aspect. She is a rock star when it comes to the cotton industry.

Fantastic Tour direct from the Owner. You really get a chance to see the effort, economics, and love of the land during this 2 1/2 hour presentation and tour. See the equipment, hear the process, feel and smell the cotton fields (actual picking cotton) touch the raw and finished product. Learn from using all 5 senses. A great day trip.

A small , working, family owned cotton farm. Took 31 people to visit the farm. Nothing fancy here but so very educational. We loved it. Nancy Caywood is an incredible resource of passion and knowledge regarding farming in Arizona. You can not go wrong with a tour of Caywood farms. The best time to go is when the cotton is in full bloom.
