Nice atmosphere and good quality overall. Often has activity tables for kids.

Only disappointing items are that it’s not entirely plant-based / vegan (they sell flesh) and not all vendors are organic.

Diversity is also missing amongst many vendors.

Great atmosphere brings you back to Old world markets with the charm only San Francisco can bring. Love Rainbow farms fresh berries. Achadinha Cheese Co has the best Kefir to go with blueberries or any fruit. Their fresh feta is dynamite & they also sell amazing mouth watering Berkshire pork chops, & Jersey cow steaks of the highest quality! Oh, man! Their RIBEYE steaks are the best I have ever had!
Right next to those tents is Rodriguez farms with a wonderful selection of fresh veggies and watermelon. The music is beautiful and the nearby restaurants make for the perfect Wednesday night out in the Castro district. Love this market!

Small, local farmer’s market. Only about a block long and very hard to find parking. Most stands accept card.
The peaches and nectarines booth at the end is the best!!

This is a gem for the neighborhood. You can buy nearly everything for your week in one spot. Meat, fish, eggs, nuts, bread, pasta, olives, fruits (strawberries!!!!) and huge variety of vegetables. Very charming sellers that I look forward to seeing every week and every season.

Situated in the Castro, prices may be a little high, but this market, in my opinion, has some of the best eggs and largest melon you can find in any farmer's market in the City.

Some organic produce is available, so even if you are not buying local simply to support your farmers (and enjoy some of the freshest produce available, unless you live on or next to a farm), you will still get a reasonable selection here.
