We were looking for an apple picking place that was a genuine farm and not so much a theme park like so many, and was not mobbed. Carver Hill orchard was perfect! Lots of good apple varieties, compact area, useful color-coded tagging system for figuring out which kinds of apples were on each tree. There's a farm store with incredible cider donuts, ice cream including cider donuts sundaes, fresh veggies, pies, preserves, and more. No hay rides or corn mazes or bizarre stuff. Just what we were looking for!

We really enjoyed our visit. Had a lot of fun pressing our own cider and the apple cider donuts are delicious!!! Also, not too crowded which was ideal for us. We'll come again for sure.

Delicious donuts- probably the best cider donuts in central Massachusetts. Quiet place. Pick your own veggies late summer and early spring. Tasty Apples. Not as crowded as others around.

Came to pick some apples around 2pm on a Thursday and had the orchard (nearly) to ourselves! It was a beautiful day to pick apples. We bought some cider, donuts, and pumpkins. Such a nice orchard to visit, will be back for their other seasonal you-pick produce after we Noticed they had cherry and peach trees as well. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a low key apple picking experience not surrounded by a ton of people and screaming kids! We loved it.

Myself my husband, my 2 grown daughters and my one daughter’s boyfriend had the best time at the orchard. Everyone was very happy and helpful. I love going to the smaller orchards. Would go there again. It was halfway between myself and husband and our oldest daughter and her boyfriend.

Beautiful, not super crowded (even on a Sat afternoon in Sept!), the orchard is right off the parking lot instead of needing to take a train or hayride or long walk to get there... the trees are all different ages with some really big beautiful ones mixed in... and some of the best warm cider donuts I've ever had. We will definitely be back.

I can't speak to the apple picking, but they have tasty donuts and you can get some really good warm apple crisp while you wait in the donut line. Bonus is that the Orchard is connected to the trails at stow town forest so you can easily stop in during a walk or bike ride (but not with a dog).

Skip Honey Pot, go to Carver Hill instead. Fresh delicious donuts, honey, pumpkins, fresh apples, and not many people. Beautiful orchards to walk around on a quaint farm.
