California Cart Builders did an amazing job on my Truck. I came to them with an idea and something they hadn't done before and they did an incredible job bringing it to life. I had them build a mobile greenhouse/plant truck and they were able to build it better than I had imagined. Rod the owner has a ton of experience and went over everything with me when I dropped off the truck and had some great ideas I hadn't thought of, his guys did an amazing job with the build. Bryce and Crystal were my two contacts/sales reps and were so helpful through the whole project and were on top of any questions or concerns I had. Building a truck is definitely a process and I have no experience with a mobile business, they were able to walk me through everything and get me on the road opening my first business! Like many have already said, the staff at CA Cart Builder are great. They were very responsive to the MANY MANY questions I had along the way and addressed all the hurdles we faced during our build. Their team made sure we were up to date on any delays due to covid and even made sure to keep the build a priority in order to meet my spending deadlines for the project. The food cart is for our school district CTE Culinary Arts program and the finished product is amazing. The teacher is happy and the kids are going to love it.
I would recommend this company if you are looking to have something built. They are a professional team.

This review is in response to my daughters (Lisa L) review and CCB’s reply. In your reply you (CCB) stated:

#1- We were in contact with the customer via 27 emails: MY RESPONSE: We first started with JEREMY Aug/Sept 2021questions were asked and we began talking about our food trailer. We kept hearing, “Process starts with a non-refundable deposit.” KARI (Oct/Nov 2021) contacted us stating JEREMY no longer worked there and she was taking over. So we go over EVERYTHING again. Once again, “Process starts with a non-refundable deposit.” Against my better judgement I stated in front of her that I’m not comfortable with leaving a deposit. KARI assured me that everything will be fine. So deposit was left. JOSHUA (Dec 2021) contacted us and stated he’s taking over because KARI no longer is there. So we go over EVERYTHING for the 3rd time. JOSHUA states in an email dated 12/28/21 that CRYSTAL is taking over. Ok by now it’s time to give that NON-REFUNDABLE deposit back because CLEARLY we’re getting the runaround. I’m aware of what NON-REFUNDABLE means. There were also times when we would try to communicate and wouldn’t get a timely response. When a company doesn’t take accountability for their actions then a REFUND should be issued. We decided to move on. JEBREEL (May 2022) contacted us stating he is the guy we will be dealing with. 27 emails of chaos, miscommunication and lack of organization within the company.

#2 - 10 phone calls: MY RESPONSE: This is probably correct since they couldn’t seem to keep the position filled.

#3 - 10 zoom call: MY RESPONSE: CCB HAS NEVER, AND I REPEAT NEVER HAS HAD A ZOOM CALL WITH US. LIES UPON LIES UPON MORE LIES. A TRIPLE DECKER LIE SANDWICH! Let’s see….hmmm STOP LYING!!!

#4 - I think the daughter is misinformed as to the amount of work we did for her parents: MY RESPONSE: My daughter was/is CORRECTLY INFORMED of what transpired. You guys are the only ones misinformed.

#5 - My daughter posted this review 9 months ago, and you guys are just now responding? RED FLAG! RED FLAG! RED FLAG!

In closing, we PURCHASED our food trailer from CONCESSION NATION IN FLORIDA. I highly recommend them.

You need to ask for Bryce. We can’t thank Bryce enough for all the time and effort he put forth on our behalf & appreciate how quickly his turnaround was with everything. This a horrible company. They required my parents pay a deposit, then would not communicate with them afterwards. My parents called over and over again and ultimately had to go to another company. On top of that, they just sent my mother an email stating they look forward to working with them after months of no communication. My parents requested a refund and they REFUSED.

This guy quoted me for a trailer and I still gave him the plans that South American food trucks quoted me $77,000 for these guys at california carts want $100k to $144,000 for the same setup you must be out of your mind because "we are custom" 🤣🤣 yeah and so is south american
