I can’t comment on the produce as I only did pick your own apples, so this review is for apple picking.

I’ve never seen this much poison ivy at an apple orchard. I visited with my 2-year-old. The orchard is beautiful and scenic, with minimal landscaping, and apples looked great. When I saw my daughter trip and helped her up I noticed that the ground where she fell was covered in poison ivy. It is mixed in with the grass and especially prevalent around the edges of the trees where you would stand to pick apples. Many of the trees have poison ivy vines.

On my way out I saw a small sign in a corner that warns about poison ivy. There were another dozen signs around it that make it very easy to miss. This is not nearly visible enough for an activity that attracts families with young children. There is also no warning on the website.

I ended up dumping the apples that we picked because I can’t be sure if they have poison ivy on them from my toddler touching them.

Please either manage your poison ivy or more clearly warn visitors on your website and with more visible signs.

The pick your own apples are also very, very expensive.

Surprising find. Nice Apple picking. Farm stand has many things that will make you wish you can buy all of them: pie, jam, jelly, fresh produce, pumpkins, eggs, cider...

Old school stand at a centuries old orchard. Pick your own also available in season. Also has some basics like farm eggs and vegetables, both their own and some out of season staples like onions. Also jams, honey, and some baked goods. Great for apple season if you don't enjoy the crowded tourist orchard scene.

A fantastic farm!! Vegetables are great...i bought fresh zucchini there & made a fritatta w garlic, roasted red peppers and 4 eggs. Also love their Lemonade and Individual Tea Cakes...heat them in microwave for like 12 to 15 seconds and have w milk or coffee!!♡ Enjoy. Visit this place, its great.

The absolute best place in New England to get Macoun apples. Great prices, wonderful atmosphere, plenty of selection. I love Dowse Orchards. Also, the Apple Cider is fantastic!

Friendly, beautiful, well maintained orchards. This is where me and my family have gone for our apple picking for more than 7 years now, and it is never disappointing. Their Empire apples (which we typically get on the last day of PYO) are hands down the best in the region. My coworkers often put in requests when they know I am going.

Staff is helpful, and friendly. If you want an apple picking experience that is simple yet authentic, this is the place.

Not the best place, but certainly the least crowded. Much cheaper than their competitors. They don't do much, if any landscaping in the aisles of the apple picking areas. Every apple had mold on it
