I had an awful experience with burnt hickory farm. I bought milk and cheese from them, expecting quality, but the milk was spoiled, and the cheese smelled off and tasted terrible. Concerned about food safety, I contacted the farm, and they promised to refund my money.

However, two days later, instead of processing the refund, they called me a scammer! I couldn’t believe their attitude. First, they sell spoiled products, then they make baseless accusations instead of taking accountability.

This is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Selling bad dairy is bad enough, but treating customers like this is unacceptable. I’ll never shop here again and would warn others to stay far away. Don’t risk your health or your time with this place!

“I’m not an idiot who would spend $51 on milk and cheese, leave it out of the fridge, and then be accused of scamming you. You confirmed that you received the payment at your store, yet you refuse to issue a refund. I saw reviews mentioning that your products are sour, but it was my mistake for buying such awful items from you. This is, without a doubt, the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.”

First off, I visited here because I was curious about Raw Milk and wanted to try it. The milk was very good and I was happy with it. However, if you’re going to have a farm with a lot of animals and run a business, then you need to take care of the animals. There was a Great Pyrenees dog, sweetest thing ever, needed to be groomed really bad, just sitting out trapped in the pen with the Chickens in the 90 degree weather, dirty, with zero food or WATER.. Poor thing was suffering just craving attention and to be loved. The chickens/ goats looked miserable And not well taken care of. Their water was green and full of mold and Algae. It made me mad a bit. I get owning a farm is probably a lot of work and requires a lot of time and effort and people make mistakes but the animals definitely need to be better taken care of.
