This is honestly the best apple cider donut I’ve ever had in my life. It’s absolutely incredible, especially when eaten warm—though I couldn’t enjoy it fresh and warm, which was a bit disappointing. However, when I reheated it at home in the oven, it was just perfect. I truly don’t understand why some of the other reviews are so negative. I get that maintaining consistent quality for every single donut might be challenging, but isn’t that a reasonable risk when supporting small businesses?

Unlike products from large corporations, these small-scale businesses bring unique products and new experiences to the table, and I think the occasional inconsistencies are a fair trade-off for that. I just hope I can continue enjoying these amazing donuts for as long as I’m living in New York!

This review is for the disaster that is the apple cider donuts they sell at the Snowport holiday market in Boston. From afar, the donuts looked fresh and tasty. In reality, they are -- by far -- the worst donuts I've ever had in my life. I kept wondering whether these were donuts from last year they were still trying to sell to the public. Bland, stale, disgusting. I think it's a miracle I didn't get sick from them.

How insulting towards the customers to sell them at $5/piece, an absolute disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

I paid $16 for 1/2 a dozen Apple Cider Doughnuts at the Union Square Christmas Market. When I got home there was a sugary syrup pooling at the bottom on the container. I have never experienced this with an Apple Cider Doughnut. Hard pass on these. Disappointing.

I never write reviews, but these people deserve their flowers. I have raved about them all week. Their apple cider doughnuts and hot apple cider are addicting and delicious. I tired them from their Bryant Park Winter Market shop. I have come back several times in the past three weeks. Their doughnuts and apple cider have a perfect amount of sweetness, that is not overbearing. The doughnut was perfectly moist and the cider had a perfect blend of flavor.

I tried one of their cider donuts from their stand in Union Market but unfortunately it wasn’t really good. The donut tasted old and I feel like the recipe ingredients must have been off because the texture of the donut was strange. Possible over mixing due to the large air holes in the donuts. Probably won’t try again.

Review is only for the farmer's market cider donuts, but given my dislike for them I'm never going to stop at this place. Bought a half dozen for my spouse and myself. Taking them out of the container they were dense and dripping oily syrup (which may mean that they were placed in the container too soon). They don't have good texture or flavor. Not sure we're going to eat the other four. And if I were to pass this stand again and they were giving them away for free, unless they told me that it was a new recipe, I wouldn't touch them.

So disappointed after paying $16 for a very small pie. It was supposed to be peach raspberry but there might have been 1 raspberry in it. The crust was thick, heavy, and undercooked.

Breezy Hill and their associated farms/orchards are the best! Delicious apples, pears, ciders, donuts, pies, and simply good people all around. Plus their green activism and cultural events in the Valley are above and beyond. We love BHO, their products and what they do for our world. Would give 10 stars if we could!
