Family run business that makes several snack items. Just a few, summer sausage, meat sticks, beef jerky, flavored cheese curds, & of course their specialty is ring bologna. They do alot of local hunters deer & make it to whatever you choose. Anytime I make it to Washington, I hit this place so I can take some good stuff back to Marengo with me.

The Cajun bologna ring!! Oh man, if bologna could win a gold medal, this would be it. It’s like they took a regular bologna, gave it a little pep talk, and then sent it to a Cajun boot camp where it learned how to kick some serious flavor butt. Spicy, smoky, and just the right amount of zip! Even my picky toddler will eat it!

Definitely way better than Bud's Custom Meats in Riverside, Iowa. It's not even really fair to compare the two actually and you would see why if you read my review of Bud's Custom Meats. Anyway, the first time that I walked into this place, I liked it almost right away. But like any new place that I go to, I was skeptical. The food presented looked really good, so I had to go on a sampling spree, and it was really good. The owner didn't seem to mind giving out samples either. He was a really quiet guy. I was more impressed by their smoked string cheese than anything else. As a matter of fact, it was by far the best smoked string cheese that I've ever tasted, so I bought some. I highly recommend this place.

We only make it to Boyds once or twice a year and always have to stock up on good cheese, summer sausage, jerky and of course their famous ring bologna.
