I purchased a Boker folding ceramic with a titanium handle from Cabelas in 1993,this knife came with a lifetime warranty on material and craftsmanship as well as free sharpening for life as the blade must be sharpened with a laser.

I have sent the knife to boker twice since have owned it without incident. It’s time for another sharpening as the blade has lost its edge, upon calling Boker to schedule such I was informed that they no longer honor the lifetime sharpening warranty.
The marketing manager was quite rude and unconcerned and offered the name of a company in California that I could send the knife to at a cost of around seventy dollars.
I guess my options are to purchase a Buck or a Gerber and that I can renew the edge myself and use my Boker as a butter knife.

Alas I feel boker has fallen in the ways of Bud light and Harley Davidson, keep this in mind before purchasing ANY of their lifetime products.

Boker is great but don’t be fooled: this is not a retail space. They will not sell you a knife directly or let you look at their stock. Drove about 2 hours to find this out. 🙁
