It was very nice experience today even when your days are cloudy there always someone that bright your day, some people are kind there are always every where you go sweet and sour so your mind has to set that no matter what you could do what you need to do a safe environment and always clean witch is very good.

All the times I go to the big y in Southampton is always the best. I get everything and the checkout employees are the very best. You are the best

They are very rude in that store .
Employees are worse.
I have a service animal with vest and leash
I go in there often today he confronted me in front of other customers and employees and tells me my dog is not allowed in the store I said you can clearly see he is a service animal.
He said well what does he do how are you disabled you look fine to me I'd like to know what your disability is that you think you can bring an animal into a store with food .
I said I am an epileptic he said what's that a seizure disorder are you planning on having a seizure in the store. You have your husband here with you couldn't he have come into the store and bought your items while you waited outside with your service animal "?
I was shocked and mortified and said no
He then walked off muttering to himself..

I will Never go into this store again
I was there to get dinner after dropping our daughters off at Cli Conservatory across the street.

He was unprofessional and rude I am a store manager and I would Never treat anyone that way especially someone with a disability.

Unfortunately got listeria from the boars head at this location. It wasn’t their fault. But when I called to get information, they patched me through to a “less than real” customer service rep for boars head who gave me a phony claim number and a fabricated phone number to call back with any further questions. Only when I called the real boars head did I discover that I gave my information to a complete stranger at big Y s direction. I’m still on the fence as to whether or not I need a lawyer to continue this journey. The real boars head has given me yet another claim number, rep, and phone number to call. I might suggest it would have been easier to just litigate to begin with.

I’m dying in bed or close to it currently. Absolute torture. Why do I say this in a review? You’ll come to understand. I just realized while thrashing feverishly in bad for over thirty hours, I went grocery shopping here recently. The guy who was bagging my groceries asked me how I was. I said fine. He said well I’m fine too. (I’m not sure why he felt like he needed to tell me that.) But then he went on and said “I just found out I’m not sick anymore! I was sick with the worst flu!”
Immediately I told him “well if you were sick I think you should move about 6 feet away from me. I’m bagging my own groceries anyway. You don’t even need to be here. ….If you could just back up.”
And the guy did not back up, and kept talking to me and telling me I was fine/ he was fine. I kept telling him I don’t care. I want him to back up. I’m susceptible to getting sick. He was incredulous about it and barely moved away. So there you go, I was exposed to somebody who had a terrible flu according to him. Forgot about that. I suggest big y have a word with this menace bagger. My rating is based generously on the whole store itself, not this, but be careful around the baggers this week. Big Y has been one of two grocery stores I’ve shopped at my whole life. Stop and shop is usually better (except the bakery which bigy wins every time) PS-they are BOTH dirty and need to hire people who know how to clean.

Nice store, food service had a lot of fresh product available. We spilled something on the way out and I went to let an employee know, and when I told the Employee Service Rep about it, he looked at me like I was crazy for telling him. Bad energy, I feel sorry for employees looking to seek help from him. Otherwise great experience, front end staff and store director thumbs up!
