Berkshire provides a consistent experience. Sadly it's consistently bad. Their machines always claim to be out of items even with a fully stocked shelf. It's as though the tech isn't updating stock levels when restocking. Between that and the constant payment processing issues I skip their machines entirely. It's just more reliable to stop somewhere else for what I need.

Used my card to purchase a soda from one of their vending machines in Norwalk Hospital. Two days later with no intervening charges a fraudulent charge on a Canadian airline for over $1100 appeared on my card. Obvious to me that my card was scammed in the machine; not so obvious whether it is due to the company failure to monitor their vending machines and someone was able to place a card reader in it or due to fraud on the part of the company. Either way, after reading the other negative reviews here it is clear that their machines are to be avoided and that they should be investigated.

I would strongly advise NOT to use they’re vending machines! They hit your card after the initial purchase for more money. (Hence why you can’t use cash-what a scam this company is) Called 2 times, gave my name/number etc. said they would call me back…heard nothing. Called 2 more times (spoke to 2 different people) said it would be refunded. One week later nothing, called this morning she assured me that she’d call me right back after checking into it…5 hours later nothing! DO NOT USE!! Maybe the BBB should be called! Hmmm

Terrible vending machine service, I proceeded to purchase a product 3 different times as it only wedged the product deeper in the spool. I tried reaching out to the hotline but of course received a voicemail. I probably will never hear back from them which is why I’ve come here; to let you know of them.

The card machine in these vending machines don't work. They take your money and don't give you a snack! I've contacted the company. I will change my review if I am satisfied with their response and how they handle the situation.

EDIT: The issue was resolved and a refund has been issued. Changing my rating from one star to four

Used to be fine with their services, the machines ran dry and someone came and filled it back up. Not a big deal since they had good prices. Then the food stocked began expiring, like a week or 2 expired not a big deal. Someone makes a fuss and they come and exchange expired food out and then double the prices. Funny the machine never runs out anymore, think people wised up and began doing Costco runs

Dont spend money on these machines they have a kiosks by my job. Me and many other coworkers have deposited money in our account to purchase from the min mart and have lost money. I have called berkshires main office 5x already to let them know what happened and for them to return my money and the answer the always give me is "they are looking into it and I will get a call back . Its has been weeks and it still has been resolved !
