In Hickory, PA, a small town off of Burgettstown Road, we found a really cool honey shop/farm. Bedillion Honey Farm is family owned, and we had the pleasure of meeting the mother and daughter. They were very helpful and answered all of our questions. This shop had some really great gifts and kits for behives and pretty much anything you need if you are looking to get into the bee business. My mom walked out of there with several Christmas gifts, lol. A very cool display inside was a live bee hive, super neat to see. We walked out of there with a bunch of different types of honey and can't wait to try them. There were soaps, candles, syrup, and on and on of fun things having to do with honey and bees wax. If in the area, stop by check out the farm store.

We are trying our hand at urban beekeeping in Pittsburgh. We purchased a "Nuc" from Bedillion and various beekeeping supplies. They have a very nice little store. Picking up the bees and supplies was easy. Also, their honey is delicious (we've purchased it previously)--which is why I got our "Nuc" from here. Highly recommend!
