This is a large brewery with a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was nice and pretty quick. We enjoyed full pours, half pours, and a flight of all of their beers because there were so many great options. We liked the pizza, but the best food by far was the spinach and artichoke dip!

My favorite place to go seat on patio in summer time. Atmosphere and energy super nice!
They have several varieties of beer one of my favorite lemon made shandy 😊and berries Mule.

Backpocket Brewing was a pleasant stop on our walk along the Iowa River Landing Trail. We enjoyed some excellent beer and pizza in the outside seating area. The service was great and the staff was very helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

In town for a Hawkeyes football game and I wanted to try a couple of breweries. I selected this one due to the unique draft options I saw on their online menu. The place was very clean on the inside, staff was extremely friendly. All the beer we tried was very good. I loved their Hawktoberfest beer. Very smooth for an Oktoberfest beer.

You can order from outside via a QR code and they brought our drinks out to us. There was a good drink selection. We had to pick up our pizza from the pickup window. The beer was delicious, the service was good, and their pizza was wonderful!

Had a great time here! They have a big selection of beers on tap, and all of them are very good. In particular I tried two of their double IPAs, double bubba and that’s tight, and they were super tasty with good enough amount of hop! I will go back to try other options. They also have a brick oven so make sure you try their pizzas. The crust was very nicely done and crunchy enough. Only complain is that they could work more on their pizza toppings. The staff are friendly and nice. All in all a great place!!

Update:
I tried the pork belly bites and they were amazing. The brisket Mac and cheese was nice too, however, it was too soupy and I wasn’t a fan of the bbq sauce.

Delicious pizza & tasty beer, with a nice selection of both. Do yourself a favor and try this pizza! The crust, which is often just an afterthought, was really good.
