Pizza is great. Noodles are okay for me. Maybe I like the classic spaghetti more than anything. The appetizer is fresh to me and the drinks is good as welll. Parking might be hard to find. Lastly two of us spend 200$ total on this meal we order a lot.

Bacetti's - Come for the totally mind-and-taste--bud-blowing FOCCACIA BREAD (made like a cinnamon roll and totally worth the hype) and stay for the stuffed squash blossoms, the radicchio salad, mushroom pizza, and mafaldine. We ordered all of these dishes to share among my party of three, and it was a dinner for the ages.....

Whenever I'm in LA, a reservation at Bacetti's is a MUST! I usually walk around Echo Park Lake at sunset first - the view is incredible, then stroll up to Bacetti's for dinner. The food is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming and approachable. The service is good, I wouldn't say they are super friendly, but service is always timey and accurate. *Noteworthy: 20% Tip is included in your bill and shared among all staff.

While you're in the neighborhood - take a one block stroll up the street to the Chocolate Dispensary for an after dinner sweet treat with over 700 chocolates from all over the world. It's a must as well!!

This place rules! Had such a cute date night here, ordered a full course meal, food was overall incredible. Steak tartar was just on par but everything else hit. The “Viola” beet salad was a flavor bomb, the pasta was deep with flavor and perfect texture - the Cavatelli with duck was really special and stood out. The whole branzino was also perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and helpful in helping us decide what to order. Ambience was great, we sat inside in the main room at a booth where the lighting, music, and volume were all vibing. Wine was excellent, desert and amaro also very satisfactory.

A dining experience that feels both effortlessly cool and deeply satisfying. The place draws you in with its ambiance—warm wood tones, dim lighting, perfect for a date night or a dinner with friends. The outdoor seating provides a charming option for those who prefer to dine al fresco and enjoy the evening air.

The focaccia ebraica is a must-order, a masterpiece of bread-making. If you’re even thinking of skipping this bread, let me stop you right there. Studded with taggiasca olives, currants, rosemary, honey, and sea salt, this focaccia is so perfectly moist and flavorful that you’ll forget any bread basket that came before it. I initially thought, “Eh, just focaccia, I’ll save room,” but when I saw (and smelled) every other table getting one, I had an immediate case of food fomo and flagged down the waitstaff. It’s the only way to start your meal here.

The fiore di zucca, or crispy squash blossoms, are stuffed with a creamy ricotta filling and topped with calabrian chili, honey, and pistachios. It’s solid and simple, delightful and addictive—my only complaint is that there weren’t enough of them. For something on the lighter healthier side, the radicchio salad does its job. Shaved fennel, walnuts, grapes, and goat cheese make a fresh, earthy mix, but I think the use of dressing was excessive.

The pasta—where Bacetti really shines (well, alongside the focaccia). The mafaldine pasta with short rib ragù was a rich and hearty dish. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the ragù generously loaded with tender short rib. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe pasta also delivered, but it could have benefited from a bit more black pepper to really nail that cacio e pepe punch. For drinks, the house rosé was an easy sipper, and their house drink vertice hit the right notes, balancing bitter and sweet.

The service was cheery and efficient, matching the overall laid-back, good-vibes energy of the space. The staff knows their menu inside and out, and they’re quick with recommendations. Bacetti is a place where you can indulge in some seriously good Italian fare if you navigate the menu right. Just don’t make the mistake of skimping on that focaccia.

Tucked away in LA's Echo Park neighborhood is an excellent Italian restaurant with some interesting takes on classics.

For starters we enjoyed Gnoochi ala Romana made with pillowy polenta, not potato, that simply melts in your mouth. Surprising but delicious. Then we had the fresh Sardine ala Griglia perfectly grilled served with salsa verde and toast points, perfect. As a pasta carbonara fan, I ordered this, though good I prefer it with the usual long noodle spaghetti instead of the short rigatoni. I missed twirling it in the sauce. The breaded lamb chops were outstanding and won as the favorite dish. We finished with a dessert favorite, Budino, an Italian pudding which was a nice end to the meal. But this one showed off a bit, with chocolate cake at the bottom and crushed hazelnuts on top. Very good.

If you're in Los Angeles and travel to the east side, do stop in. They can't stay a local secret forever.

Ok. Where do I start?! My wife and I visited for the first time last night. Upon entering the front door we were met by Molly, dimmed lights and smooth music. (+) Our waiter Tyler was amazing/ professional/ down-to-earth. After his recommendations we went with the Focaccia to start, the Short Rib Ragu/ Broccolini and the Branzino!! EVERYTHING was delicious!! And can’t forget the desserts… this is a true Echo Park gem!! Great job team!!

The food was all really good. I was surprised! I loved the crochette and the squash blossoms. Also the two pastas were tasty too. Really lovely place, with a wine bar right next door to wait at

It was extremely cold in the restaurant. I actually used the candles to warm myself. The broccolini that was hanging off the hot plate was cold. Because of the temperature inside the restaurant. Tasted amazing though. The short rib ragu was ok. The pizza was a bit better than expected. All in all I’d go back, with a sweater.
