20/10 absolutely amazing! My boyfriend & I celebrated our Anniversary tonight. Aurum is our favorite restaurant we have ever been to. We were welcomed with champagne, a card & a seat at table #35, right next to the window with a view of the creek & Howelsen Hall. All entrees were 50% off for the off season! Our server Rob G. was so nice & attentive (the manager was great as well!) For dinner, we ordered the Parmesan Truffle Fries, French Onion Burger & Shrimp & Grits, all were delicious! The drinks were outstanding as well. Definitely recommend!

This place was absolutely amazing! My party split about 6 dishes and they were all incredible - not one tasted off or bad. The bison tartar was a huge hit and the grits melt in your mouth.

My family and I went to Aurum for New Year’s Eve dinner. The menu was fixed and each meal was $135. Given this price, I had high expectations for the 4 courses. The first 2 courses were fine, but my main course was absolutely terrible and inedible. I had ordered the Porchetta. What I got was undercooked, pure fat. It was so unappetizing even just to look at, which makes me wonder how the dish even made it out of the kitchen. I tried to find bits of meat that were edible, but again it was just pure fat. When I tried to eat it I almost gagged. I have never been served anything like this at any restaurant, let alone one that is so expensive. We sent the dish back and expected the meal to be taken off our bill, but instead only $30 was taken off (less than a quarter of the entire $135 four course meal!). I would understand if the dish had been a side dish or appetizer, but this was the main course. We were very disappointed. The manager gave us a $30 gift card when we expressed this, but I don’t think we will ever return to Aurum to redeem it.

Aurum hosted our daughter’s wedding and it was beyond fabulous. Nicole was indispensable as the wedding coordinator. The ambiance was lovely, the food wonderful, and the service top-notch. They went above and beyond to ensure all our guests were personally cared for. If anyone had a request, they made it happen.

Always amazing service. We usually sit at the bar, and everyone is great. The chef Charlie always has some delicious pasta dreamed up for the week 🤌 but you can't go wrong ordering anything off the menu. Can't wait for summer so we can sit by the river and listen to live music.

The food was so over top delicious. Gastronomic delight. We had the rolls with sweet butter, tomato bisque soup, roasted beet salad, and braised short rib. There were so many other choices we would have liked to try but didn't have room. Beautiful painting gs on the wall. Great view of the Yampa River next to the restaurant and Howelson Hill. There's a yurt for a large private party. Outdoor fireplace. Beautiful lounge/bar area also.
