Apni Mandi Farmers Market is a nice! During Diwali, they make fresh sweets right on-site, and the taste is absolutely delightful—fresh, authentic, and just the right amount of sweetness. It is well-maintained; everything is clean and well-organized, making shopping a smooth and pleasant experience. There’s always plenty of helpful staff around to assist customers and answer questions. Overall, it’s a good place to shop, especially for festival essentials. Highly recommend!

Their Aloo parantha is really oily and nowhere close to an actual parantha. Same for the declining quality of Samosa.

I won't recommend those two options.

I was at Apni Mandi, in Milpitas earlier this evening, 22nd November 2024. A good outlet for Vegetables , Fruits, Provisions. In this review I would like to highlight the Desi Snacks section in the Mandi. Items available at Desi Snacks includes Pastries, Sweets, Chat, Roti and Subzi,- quality food, a boon to the shoppers at the Mandi. Must try

Went here to try the food. Thali (Malai kofta curry and Kadi pakoda) and Dhokla were really good. Lived up to the expectations. Paneer puff was not good. Also food had less salt than necessary. Large and comfortable seating area. Would definitely recommend visiting for the food.

Very disappointed with the service and packaging. Despite mentioning we would eat there, everything was thrown into one bag with oily food leaking through. On top of that, they gave only one paper plate for two people—no basic courtesy to provide enough plates or serving bowls. We ordered three items, and instead of packing them properly, they crammed everything into one bag to save on packaging. Only one sauce and one mint chutney were provided.

To make things worse, they didn’t even bother to heat the food properly, even though we were dining in. On top of it all, we were supposed to get two bread pakodas, but they gave us only one. This kind of service is unacceptable. If customers are paying for the food, they deserve better quality, proper packaging, and basic attention to detail. Please fix this and train the staff to provide better service.

We ordered two Dhokla plates thru online and received only 2 pc dhokla. Such an embarrassing situation in front of guests. I would not recommend their online services.

Only Indian grocery store open for 24 hours. That’s a huge positive. A variety of fruits, vegetables stocked full. All varieties of grocery stores from India are available including stainless steel utensils, dairy, cheese, butter, batter, spices, rice, variety of floury, snack, chips, but not limited to fruits and vegetables.

The restrooms are clean, big and well maintained.
Big store with many aisles well marked with items. Most of the aisles are fully and neatly stocked. There is a dine in restaurant with tables and lots of Indian snacks, curries are available to dine in and to go.

Definitely recommend to visit and look at choices.
Downside is all purchase is final and no returns or exchanges. We cannot see the prices while checkout which can be improved.

A Vegetarian Indian Market, their produce prices are consistently better than Safeway, with the caveat that the quality can be very hit or miss. They do seem to have a higher tolerance for produce turnover than most other grocery stores.

That being said, I use this place as a supplement for shopping I do elsewhere. It's not great if you need a particular produce item, because it may be out, or about to go bad. But when you can go in with an open mind and just take what's best that day, you will end up with good quality produce at very reasonable prices.
