Excellent beer, and there's a very solid kitchen there as well. Cool vibe with fun pinball machines. Don't be put off by the fact that it's kinda weird to get to.

The beer here is excellent and the vibe is perfect for a microbrewery. Reminds me of a lot of great places in the area before they really blew up. Def recommend.

The food is great as well, hot wings had a nice char with good heat.

Overall they were 5 mins from my house with multiple hazy IPAs on tap. W

This brewery is the best brewery we've been to in the area, so far. Definitely worth the trip from Downingtown! We had so much fun playing music trivia last night. Great beer, fun atmosphere, and awesome bar tender and owners.

First time at Animated Brewing today. The location is certainly off the beaten path and it’s a bit obscure to find without using GPS, there is only one sign at the location itself.

Small establishment with maybe 8 stools at the bar and a center “family style” table with a dozen seats. Location has two bathrooms, with are unisex but overall were clean.

I wasn’t sure what to get and was offered a sample size of the Juicy Juicy, a grapefruit summer ale at 5.3% (abv). The bar tender was friendly as one of the three owners there today, which I talked to a bit. I also had a Soko blonde ale at 5.4% (abv). Both beers has full flavor and were poured to top of the pint.

Today was the “Punk Rock Flea Market” which consisted of a couple tables with art, comics, music, handmade hats and stickers. Not exactly what I thought and based on the business FB event picture, not even close to what it looked like.

The atmosphere was good, with some punk music playing. There was TV with the Phillies game on and several pinball games in the corner. Games are $.25/play with a bill acceptor built in.

The brewery has an affiliate food partner inside as well, Taste Buds on 82. The ordering is done at a separate window and paid separator on the bar. The menus had variety, which likely could hit any craving. Food is provided in to-go style containers but you can eat at the bar, at the table, outside or take it with you.

Beers run between $6.50-$7.50 but for the flea market all beer was $5.

The brewery has a lot of options for entertainment, such as live music, open mike, trivia, D&D and some other options throughout the week/month. Everything is advertised on their social media or on signage in the bar.

There was a wide variety of folks in/out of the brewery and it was nice to see the range of folks, from younger to locals that are part of the mug club. There was zero drama and everyone was friendly.

Parking was fine with maybe 30 spots shared between the brewery and the badminton club.

Posh Foody Lifestyles is at it again! This time we have a very special guest - "DAD". Yes, Posh Foody Lifestyles founders father, Dan a.k.a. DAD!

Let me back up a little... one night in June I'm standing in line at Wawa and I see a guy in chefs gear then started to chat it up with him. He introduced himself as Chef Michael of Animated Brewery in Coatesville, PA. After our talk he invited Posh Foody Lifestyles to the Brewery and after about 6 weeks, we arrived!

We arrived to a packed house as it was quizzno night and all were into it. The drafts were in a never-ending pour as the crowd was loving every drop!

This is not just another brewery; but it is exactly what a brewery should be!

A beautiful stone building that sits on an ever-flowing serene and peaceful stream. This is even more special since the owner, Jared, and his entire family helps with the brewery. The owner's mother had built the entire beer garden BY HERSELF.... yes, I said BEER GARDEN!!!! Because what is a brewery without a beer garden!

Now, the good stuff... BEER!!! Jared and his brewery takes great pride in how and what they brew.

Jared treated us to a taste of all his brewed beers! Although they were all unique, the favorites are in....

Anthony's favorite was "Throw papa down the stairs his hat" - a tart & citrusy lambic pale ale....

Dad's fav was "poison berries" - a honey raspberry wheat beer. (this was also very good)!

It was so good that Posh Foody Lifestyles even tried to break into the vaults!!!

Then the food - the best was - "grandmas crab dip pretzel" - the crab dip is Chef Michaels grandma's 95 yr old recipe and there was not one morsel left on the plate.

The other favs were the Smoked Brisket and Pulled pork sandwich. Chef Michael takes pride in all his food.

If anywhere near Animated Brewery you deserve to treat yourself to a frosty mug and some good home cooked tastiness!!!

The best off the beaten path brewery you're gonna find in Pennsylvania! The owners introduced themselves to me while I was there, personally checking on customers while overseeing the brewing and the kitchen. I had a few Pounds of Cure, their Belgian Strong Ale, along with the Smashburger which was delicious. This is a place that locals can visit for a terrific evening free of headaches. The atmosphere is spot on giving both a friendly and vibrate feel, making the spot a true hidden treasure. Will definitely be visiting again and introducing more friends to this location!
