I just left there very disappointed because the fruit and vegetables vendors would not accept My Alaska Senior FMNP Voucher. The market Is on the list. And to the guy that was selling those oyster mushrooms, thank you for your candor.

WOW. Although there are only a few booths, there is great variety and the fresh produce can't be beat!!! You can pick up things like squash, kale, beets, duck or chicken eggs, pink oyster mushrooms, luttuce, carrots, or even fresh baked breads or sweets. Show up early if you want eggs, that was the only thing I noticed selling out quickly. Lots of available parking and parking is free. I would recommend bringing $20-40 CASH with you and a bag to carry your buys in.

The Anchorage Farmers Market at Cordova Street is small, but full of variety. You'll find vendors selling fresh cut Alaska flowers, family owned farms selling vegetables, and of course at least one vendor selling food. If you're looking for a quick stop on the way home then I recommend this Anchorage Farmers Market. My wife made a beet salad and an omelet from duck eggs; both were full of flavor. Remember to bring a bag to help carry everything.

I go there mainly for bread and eggs, both of which are amazing. You can also pick up salsas, jams, honey, vegetables and plants depending on the booth and time of year.

Had the chance to sample these corn fritters and halibut! It was the right amount of flavor! You get 6 of these fritters for $7, with honey butter. ? Also, the cook/cashier were very friendly! Please try these tasty little treats if you're ever at the market! 4 stars for for taste ! (I gave 3 stars for the price. I felt that $7 for 6 small hush puppies was a little much.)

VERY small market. A dozen or so vendors Saturday we attended. Perhaps it was the rain? Or was it because we changed our travel plans to attend the market based on other reviews only to be disappointed by reality.

This is one of my favorite markets in Anchorage. It's a small space but don't let it fool you, they have tons of variety here. Local fruit/veggies, cut flowers, jarred goods like pickles & jams, grains, etc.
