I’m updating my review and giving them five stars because of a misunderstanding that was my fault. I initially gave them one star because I was shorted product. They insisted that they did not make a mistake. When they asked if the box had been tampered with, I only considered the top ceiling tape and didn’t notice until a week later that the sides had been busted open and re-taped

As soon as I informed the algae barn and showed them photo documentation, they immediately informed me they would be sending me the product I was shorted

I apologize for any confusion this had made, and I would certainly recommend using them for their customer service alone.

I received phytoplankton and copepods from AlgaeBarn. The Phytoplankton was very smelly. I called and talked to Matt initially and he told me that this was normal I have purchased phytoplankton from Mercers. That phytoplankton didn't smell when I received it.? I then received another call from Samantha. She also said the smell was normal I paid $70 for the phytoplankton and copepods. I asked for my money back and she said the best she could do was refund $15. Pathetic. I'm an X - Marine and served my country honorably. Its too bad 👎 that this company isn't honorable.

I had an issue with one of my orders being delayed and my pods didn’t make it. The customer service was fantastic and they made it more than right. It was wonderful working with Maxwell and Susan both were helpful and quick to respond even over the holiday.

I ordered pods from AlgaeBarn and when the box arrived it was half opened and all the jars of pods where really hot and the pods had died. I filed a claim and with no hesitation they shipped a new order. However they shipped it to my old account with my old address. I informed them of the error and again with hesitating they sent a 3rd order! I received it on time and all alive! The customer service was fantastic and the desire to keep the customer happy is great! Definitely recommend them!!

I've used them 3 times now. All 3 times, I've had issues the first time they shipped stuff past its best used bye date and asked me to use it. The 2nd time I ordered from them, my order arrived 2 days late. I just ordered again and paid for the 2 day upgrade shipping, and they still didn't ship in a timely fashion, taking over 5 days.

Second Review- These guys have gone out of their way to make sure that I have been taken care off. Every single one of my orders is loaded(can't say thank you enough for what you did for me), and living so close I always get them next day in shipping. Will be a life long customer and can't tell you the wonders the OM has done for my corals and growing my pod population! I plan to order even more as soon as I can afford it! I'm getting my tank overloaded for when I get my mandarins! Don't miss out on their amazing products!

First Review-Top notch customer service and products! My copepod jars were loaded and the oceanmagik does wonders for them and my corals!!! Highly recommend!

These guys are awesome. Their customer service is off the charts, and they will go out of their way to make something right. They really make sure to keep their clientele happy. Repeat customer right here. My wife enjoys when their package comes because she gets the Swedish fish that’s inside 🙂
