One of the most important features of a "convenience" store is an operational restroom. The past 6 times I have stopped in, the restrooms were closed for "cleaning". For 5 hours at a time? Doesn't seem very convenient to me. Makes me wonder what the employees are doing in there 🤔

I stopped in this morning to have propane filled, the young girl working said they don't do fills until 10 am. So I came back later, went inside same girl looked at the clock in disgust and said she would be out in min. She comes out gets everything ready looks at my propane tank and tells me she can't fill as it's expired by 5 yrs (date was 2015 on tank). Propane tanks don't expire they have to be recertified at 12 yrs for another 5 yrs. Plus i just had it fulled this past spring at this location. Did exchange as I needed a full tank, went inside to pay she was headed to break guess I interrupted her break time and that was the real reason she didn't want to do anything at that time. Maybe she needs to be educated a little more and also taught a little on customer service.

Poor customer service and very over priced!! It’s a great place if you don’t mind paying anywhere from 25cents to 1.25 more per gallon!
If you can get past that and want to wait 30 minutes for the attendant to have lunch for 30 minutes. Then this is the place for you

Having a knocked over mop isn’t a sign for “closed restrooms” meanwhile your slippery floor signs are laid against the wall. Then the employee has the nerve to say “nobody cares” as numerous people were using the restrooms. Get back to the trailer park if you can’t use a simple sign to relay restrooms aren’t open.

I use to come here regularly for propane but I will not be coming back for 2 different reasons. Everytime I come the older lady with white hair makes up some reason as to why she can't get me propane. Wether it be it sprayed on her, it just doesn't work today, or its too dark when there is light outside still and the sun hasn't even started setting. I also found out that you let go the only worker I was going there for simply because the new gm wanted to clean house but you leave a women who makes excuse to literally not make you money at your store? I really am baffled by this choice and was so angry when my girlfriend told me the reason we hadn't been seeing our favorite lady lately. I think you need to rethink someone who cleans house without getting to know which employees actually make her customers return. The older lady is genuinely unfriendly and I can't stand to be treated like a bother when I come in to spend my money multiple times a week.

Not sure if all of these stores are managed by the same owner but my experience is bad 90% of the time. They rarely maintain their facilities, almost every time I give them another try something goes wrong. This time I wanted to dump my RV tank and they have no water I guess their pipe froze which probably happened months ago and they still have not fixed it. Who wants to dump the RV tank without rinsing everything out, this is not sanitary whatsoever. all of this speaks to very poor management and their facilities are never maintained. Usually they are out of windshield washer cleaner at the pumps, paper towels and often times their pumps are not functioning.

I went to fill my tank up at this gas station and my inattention got the best of me. I swiped my American Express credit card on a pump that was a diesel only pump (My vehicle is unleaded). Upon notice I carefully cancelled the transaction and went to the correct pump and filled my vehicle with the correct gas. I went about my business and thought nothing of it. Low and behold a few days later. I noticed on my credit card statement that there were two charges pending on my card from this gas station for $100. It didn't add up so I immediately called the gas station. The lady that helped me at the location on 35th street was very polite and took down my name and number for the store manager on 16th street to call me back. He never did. I called a few days later to the Cenex corporate office. Talked to the man in charge there. And he said it would go back on my card in a few days. He also had the nerve to ask me if I was near my credit limit and if that was the main reason I was calling. I politely told him that it was a matter of principle not a matter of myself being near my credit limit. He basically said there was nothing he could do about it. It's been 5 days and I still have a $100 credit transaction pending on my American Express. If they do business like this I will not be back. My next step is the BBB.
