My husband and I just had dinner at Atascadero Bistro, here in Atascadero. The chicken dinner was delicious, excellent rice pilaf and veggies, with bread for the table. & soup or salad....for $23 each! If you sit in the section away from the kitchen you have nice ambiance and great background music. Viviana is a delight as a server (also one of the owners). And the German chocolate cake with ice cream was absolutely stellar. We thought it couldn't get any better, and then found out that previous customers had paid for our dinner!! Whoever you are, THANK YOU so much. Go eat there, it will not disappoint. ?

Very easy going, natural vibe & atmosphere; however the place has a romantic value, I guess of all the natural elements. Don't be let down when you walk in... let it warm to you.... especially when you see the delightfully, epicurean offerings! And then, just wait until you taste! I had lunch. They serve breakfast & dinner too. It really is a cool, local dig.

My husband and I love to eat here! The food is consistently so delicious, and the service is absolutely wonderful. The Veggie Delight Omelet and the Chicken Apple Brie Sandwich are now two of my favorite meals in town.

We have eaten here three times, both for breakfast and lunch. The food is amazing!!! The best biscuits and gravy, the bread on the sandwiches is so fresh, best of all are the crepes. Highly recommend.

This place does not disappoint and definitely a must try! I ordered the Veggie Omelet which comes with breakfast potatoes, fruit, and toast. The ingredients are fresh, bright and flavorful including the few slices of avocado - so creamy! The homemade salsa is delicious! Everything is seasoned and cooked perfectly. There's a touch of cheese which I like, not overwhelming.

My Friend and I had Lunch here today. I had the special Salmon Sandwich. It was absolutely delicious cooked perfectly and the veggies in it were so fresh. My Friend had the Jalapeño Burger and she said it was delicious to. Our Waitress was so attentive and sweet to. We didn't feel rushed after our meal either and enjoyed conversation.

Everything I have tried here is top notch. Just tried the meatloaf sandwich. It was amazing. Seared and flavorful. Have tried the Masa waffle and plenty of other items. It may take a minute to get your food. Usually, only 2 people are working, but it is worth it.

Atascadero Bistro is a hidden gem! I've been coming here for breakfast and lunch for years. The owners clearly care about and consistently put forth a quality meal and friendly experience. The Bistro is family owned and you may see their kids working here alongside the parents. Creative meals, nice music, and kind people. I recommend you give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and they just started serving dinner, apparently!
