Just bought this ground beef today 7/19/2024 . Food 4 Less in Atascadero California is selling bad meat. Pink on the outside and mystery brown meat on the inside. This is actually why I stopped buying meat at Food 4 Less years ago. The meat in the pic was package by Food 4 Less. I bought it for my dog but dogs deserve fresh meat as well. Wish I could have given this rating a O.

So you mean I have to check myself out, but you have the time to tell me to wait to leave until my receipt prints like I want a reminder of the price of food increasing? You should change the name to Food 4 More!

Terrible self check out system that makes you pile everything onto the scale before you can bag it. The attendants at self check out aren't helpful, and I've even had one run up and attempt to put their hands into our grocery bags trying to take things out because they thought we scanned the fruit in it wrong.

I'd never been to Food 4 Less before and ended up stopping by on a trip. I was very impressed! So much selection, and lots of good prices. I was especially happy with their tea bag selection.

They finally got on the bandwagon with the automatic checking stations. It's about time! I prefer to check things out myself often times, so it's a bonus for me. I don't come often though because the produce is not great quality and the organic section is meh, at best. The shipping cart never work correctly, either a wheel sticks and your having to get a running start to get it going or it pulls to one side so you gotta have one of your kids hanging onto the other side of the cart to hopefully balance it out a bit. They need to carry dairy free yogurt and cheeses. It's annoying that they don't. Employee are pretty helpful and friendly at least.

The prices are good, staff are friendly and there are always plenty of checkers + self-checkout. But, I don’t recommend buying anything but non-perishables here. I’ve had so much wasted food bought here. Anytime I’ve bought bread here it molds in less than a week (sometimes 2-3 days). If I buy vegetables, fruit, or onions they rot within a few days. I don’t get it, something must be wrong with the supply line or storage. Meat and dairy has been fine. But after it happening numerous times I’ve given up and get fresh food from vons or smart and final.
