A visit to this place is classic for fall on the Central Coast. They grow an amazing variety of heritage apples that you cannot find anywhere else. They do Apple tasting daily. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Very sweet little shop with a nice variety of local products. Don't miss their fresh preshed cider. And they carry Cal Poly cheeses. It's the perfect place to create a little picnic that you can take to Avila Beach.

Innovative Constructions

This apple farm is worth driving to. This is a store full of products made mostly by them. Of course they have lots a different types of apples that you can buy in paper bags and enjoy. We got 4 different types of apples and they were all very fresh as though they were just picked. We also bought honey in a bottle also great fresh honey. Your kids will also enjoy seeing some chicken in a cage kinda fun for them. The drive up to the apple farm is also nice and we saw a fee deer on our drive up.
Overall, a great place to visit if you’re driving by on a trip.

Cute spot, good variety of products and seasonal produce. They have some chickens there if you have kids who like looking at animals.

Downsides are, everything is incredibly expensive. Like insanely so. It’s just a small shop, there’s nothing else to do? It’s just a farm stand, you can’t go on the farm or pick apples or anything. The name was a bit misleading being “apple farm” vs “apple farm stand”, but that’s more on me for assuming I suppose. Employee seemed more annoyed than anything that we were there at all, which didn’t really encourage us to shop around the store at all.

Overall it’s not bad for what it is, so maybe just temper any expectations before going lol.

I’d say 3.5 stars but I can’t give half stars so rounded up.

Super cool apple farm in San Luis Obispo. I’ve been to SLO about 4 dozen times and have never realized that they had a bunch of cute little apple farms in the hills.

This is my absolute FAVORITE apple grower on the Central Coast. I have been coming here for years, my parents took me as a kid here all the time, and although there have been fluctuations in the quality of their fruit, I always keep coming back - especially for their apple cider! If you haven't tried their cider, you are missing out!!!

For those of you who don't know, these guys own the Avila Valley Barn too. If you want to beat the crowds, come to this farm stand tucked away in See Canyon!
