"Fred Eshelman, a pharmaceutical executive whose Elk Mountain Ranch holdings span 50 miles.
After failing to secure criminal trespassing verdicts against the four hunters from Missouri, Eshelman brought civil trespassing charges, arguing that his property would shed an estimated $9 million in value if he lost exclusive access to the elk-rich public land sections interspersed with the square-mile sections of land for which he holds the deed."

These landowners want to close public land to tax payers that deserve access in a free country just because they can afford to push people around. I dont agree with the idea of closing publicly owned land to the PUBLIC. Do not support this company

Imagine buying land simply because you think it gives you exclusive access to PUBLIC land. You don't own the public land, period. You had to go and blow it up and try to abuse the justice system to essentially make public land private. Ridiculous.

Disappointed to see they are actively pursuing legal action to deny access to public land. Hopefully they lose in court but more importantly we need to stand up as citizens and demand easements to access our public land, if we dont these fat cats can purchase acres surrounding public land and effectively steal our public land as only they will have access to them

Use any other hunting ranch other than this one which is ran by a petty person suing because 4 hunters crossed at a corner and "violated" his airspace above the corner of his property. BLM needs to use eminent domain and take a corner to allow access from public land to adjoining public land.
