I fricken love this place! It is so affordable and really good quality, especially their fresh fruit and vegetables. As a broke college student, whenever I can buy something here I try to because it’s going to be at least 2 dollars less than what I would have spent at Safeway let alone Whole Foods. I can buy like 6 donut peaches, fresh and delicious for like 4 bucks vs Market Hall for example I would spend like 9 bucks for the same amount and quality. It’s a little more of a treck for me from my house, but it’s so worth it when I can buy like 8 items and the total is 25 bucks vs anywhere else where that might get me 4 or 5. I LOVE THIS MARKET!!!

My go-to for everything groceries, staff and owner are super nice and welcoming. Asian grocery friendly. Safeway and Trader Joe’s also nearby if I missed anything here.

Lovable local corner store, with an amazing selection of stuff -- really a small supermarket in that sense. Produce pretty good for the most part, fresh corn lately exceptional. Prices reasonable. They seem to have survived the opening of the Safeway across the street. You are allowed to park in the Safeway lot across the street for one hour free, even if you don't shop at Safeway -- this was part of a deal negotiated with local community groups. Love 'em.

No battles for parking (use the Safeway lot) - veggies at Yasi -
bread at La Farine - vino from Vino and round out your mini trip to France with coffee at Coles. If you try you can hear footsteps on cobblestone.

This store is amazing. The variety of produce, the selection of dry goods, the tempting little treats..there is more in this little shop than there is in most large supermarkets! Like, not only do they have matzoh meal, but they have the best QUALITY brand of matzoh meal. And they have the very best, freshest varieties of apples, a large selection of fresh herbs and unusual mushrooms . And the only rye flour in the East Bay during quarantine!

Exactly what I want from a small grocer. I usually come here for produce and other small condiments for a dish I’m making. The staff are friendly and it’s easy to get what I need and get outta there.
