First customers of the day and the lady taking our order had a bad attitude. She also messed up our order. Food is not great, definitely not worth the price. A sandwich, fries and a side, two fish tacos and two drinks, $40. We were looking forward to going here based on the reviews, but it was not a pleasant experience overall.

This place is my best place to come when I am craving a delicious torta. Super delicious! Love the food here. Be warned it can be addictive!

The milanesa has been one of my favorite tortas. 😋😍

The spicy chile habanero 🌶 with avocado 🥑 is amazingly delicious and great!

I appreciate the service here 🙏. Thank you. It's worth the price because I can not imagine myself hunting for food and making it as good as these tortas here.

I wanted to share my recent visit to Cooks tortas. we ordered 3 sandwiches,
as listed there ( La Diabla Torta, La Cubana Torta, and an Asada Torta.
Im always recommending this place to family, friends, and those whom I've shared my culinary experience and knowledge.
I was disappointed. la Cubana tasted like it had pesto, but it lacked the flavor I've known to love them for.
you could not taste the bacon or the ham, and the chicken was dry.
Now to the asada torta.
it was bland, nothing close to what my wife remembered
they used to have a slice of carne asada in the torta, and now its cubed steak?
no flavor and very cheap on the portions.
here's the last one.
I ordered the LA Diabla torta.
it used to be really spicy and full of flavor no matter how much your mouth burned from the 3 types of chili sauces.
the chicken was also dry, and the black beans had no flavor as if they were boiled and pureed and the salsa's lacked heat.
the Agua de Melon was heavily sugared and way too much for flavored water.
in the end, I spent over 60 bucks and left with no desire to return.
It's definitely overpriced and definitely not the place I remember, but I will leave the rest to all of you to experience for yourselves as a first time or like me someone who has been coming there for over 15 years.

The food is really good. I had the cubana.. but it's WAY over priced. We also had a salad that ended up being $22... 2 sandwichs and a salad $75 🤦🏼‍♀️ Crazy prices. I'll go back if someone else is buying...

Cooks is amazing! They bake their own breads and pastries, ingredients are super fresh. I love the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant. Staff was super friendly. Big selection and lots to choose from. Everything was very flavorful , prepared well and was picturesque. It gets busy durring lunch rush but then line moves quickly. Lots of restaurant seating and a small patio as well.

Actually a 3.5! Ordered the Bombero. I have to admit that it is quality food but pricey for a Torta that's not that big and a small little side is a bit too much. I could get with the prices from 5 years ago. I would recommend it but with a price warning.

Not worth the price! For two tortas and two large drinks, my bill was 50$!! Each torta is about 20 bucks with some side of fries. BUT NOTE, the fries are in a small cup. Like a shot glass cup! It is not even a handful of fries . The only thing worth the price here were the large drinks for 6 bucks. Everything else not worth it, save your money guys .

Great time at Cooks Tortas!

The bake all their bread there that day and it shows. Super soft warm bread. Each sandwich was yummy.

My favorite was the ropa vieja. I also tried the white fish and the chicken mole verde. All are good.

They have tons of options for sandwiches

Some very good sides as well with different fruits mixtures.

The baked good are litttt. Those are made fresh daily obviously.

Service is very kind
