Our family took a vacation to Twin Lakes for a little R&R and some trout fishing with the grandkids. The boys had never caught a trout and we started at Mary's Lake without any success. Some stream fishing, no luck, maybe a few bites. We hoped to have a family trout dinner one night. We ran across McGee's just by chance, and we were very pleased with the beautiful setting. Neil, the owner, was very good at showing the boys the ins & outs of trout fishing. To say the least, the boys had a great, never to be forgotten, day of trout fishing. This was all made possible by Neil, and I will be forever thankful to him, for an amazing day for the family and especially for the boys. Ron PS The trout dinner was really good.

We had such a great experience here! My kids learned how to cast, they also reeled in their very first fish! Please don’t hesitate to visit them, the connecting RV park seemed like a good place to check out as well.

There is ice for sale in the RV park if you decide to keep your fish. We had the fish for dinner, it was amazing!

Neil (owner) is one of the most amazing human beings. The last 4 years my fiancé and I have been coming to a friends annual fishing derby, we’ve never caught a single fish, this year after almost not even making the trip my fiancé decided to take us here for a guarantee catch the day before the derby to keep our spirits high, Neil was so awesome and kind and patient he taught us so much about fishing and even helped and taught us how to gut and clean the fish that we eventually cooked over the campfire for dinner, and the next day we caught NINE trout at the derby! Needless to say we will support and stop in every year to support this place. Neil was amazing it’s family and kid friendly, do yourself the favor and stop by!

I took my son here after having two failed days of fishing at the lakes. In short order we had 4 large trout and my son was able to catch his first fish. Neil the owner is amazing and helped us all the way including cleaning the fish. We will be back again this summer for sure.

Stopped here to catch a couple for the frying pan. Lots of fun. Good service. They will hold your hand or let you do your thing. We borrowed a net and fished without assistance. They also clean your fish. Great for the impatient!

The pond is stocked with lots of trout so you will have success pretty quickly, which is great for the kiddos! The man facilitating the fishing was very helpful and patient with us as beginners.
