Very vibrant and amazing nursery. Employees let you browse at ease. The owner Xander is very knowledgeable and passionate about her business. They also have a great selection of indoor plants. It’s a little bit of a hidden gem and you need to take your time to browse as there are all these different sections to be discovered. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

With more monarch caterpillars than my plants can keep up with, I came here on an emergency milkweed run with my two toddlers. Errands with two little kids is always hectic but the staff here was so kind and helpful. We were helped by Cat who was especially patient and lovely with my 4 yo autistic son who loves butterflies.

It may look small from the road, but I’ve found that their selection is much, much better than Sloat’s. This is definitely where I’ll be coming from now on!

Hands down one of the best nurseries in Marin! I am always looking for hard-to-find unique plants. Generally, I have to drive over to the East Bay... Green Jeans has it all. I have lived in Marin for 12 years and never took a moment to stop by. On a whim, I stopped by this year and they had plants I have been trying to find for years!! Such amazing friendly knowledgeable staff. They are my go-to place for nursery therapy.

The best plant place I know! I first came here to get mushroom books and to take a class on dyeing textiles with mushrooms, and that was awesome, and then recently I decided I was ready to try keeping a houseplant, and the wonderful person I talked to there helped me pick a super cool plant that was within my comfort zone to care for as a beginner plant parent. Today I noticed it has a new leaf starting! They also helped my friend get set up with some wonderful succulents and a star jasmine plant that is just so beautiful. So super knowledgeable staff, incredible selection of plants, beautiful pottery, and the whole place is just so beautiful and pleasant.

Came here at the suggestion of a different nursery. Didn't find what I wanted, but that's entirely down to the obscurity of what I'm looking for.

Reasonably broad assortment of plants both indoors and outdoors. They're pretty well stocked in terms of soil amendments and fertilizer, had large sacks of some products. A number of other things are also sold here, like pots, gardening tools, and postcards.

The person who helped answer my questions was a delight. They suggested some other stores I might visit to find what I need, even though I had already checked out with only a postcard.

In short: a good small business to support.
