I went to pick up some fish at Anna’s Seafood in Petaluma and was delighted to see a Farm Stand in the parking lot! After I got my fish, I checked out the produce and spent 30 minutes tasting so many fresh bites of delicious fruit & vegetables. Jim was a delight, offering me tastes of cherries, strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, asparagus, kale. It was all so good, I brought a lot of it home! I also got spring garlic and lettuce. I had such a good time and vowed to come back every Friday to shop at the Farm Stand! See you tomorrow! ~Sabrina

The only negative about this magical place is that I live over 1500 miles away. But every time I visit Northern California this is one of the first places I go. I hope everyone in this area knows what a gem they have here. Jim goes to great lengths to bring the best of everything from local to regional to international sources together under one “stand”. From the best strawberries and blueberries I’ve ever tasted anywhere, to olive oil made everywhere from just down the road to Italy. The King Salmon is the best I’ve ever had anyplace, anywhere. The steaks are so amazing my mouth is watering writing this. It is this combination of locally grown and made products to world class products from Italy to the Big Island of Hawaii, and everywhere in between.. If you live anywhere near here don’t wait another day to experience this magical place. If you are a tourist like me and want to taste local and regional produce and protein you must visit The Farm Stand. I would be here every day if I could.

Best farms stand in Marin. The freshly cured meats and organic local vegetables were the freshest I have ever had.
The best part is the good peaceful vibes and friendly staff. I always stop on my way to the beach or the bay, lakes and rivers up here. It’s a Beautiful and magical spot.

By far this is one of my favorite stores!! Jim the owner has gone above and beyond to carefully choose items that can supply you with a grab and go picnic at the Coast, or locally sourced fixings to prepare a 5 course meal at home.
It is places like the Marin Community Farm stand that are not only a place to acquire many locally curated items, but you walk away having made new friends with a personalized shopping experience like no other. Jim has been such a huge supporter of my small business, and like many others I can say a friend. Mahalo Nui Loa Jim and staff, for all you do for the Community and the kindness you show to everyone that walks through your doors!!!

I LOVE the farm stand! Better than every local farmers market I’ve been to. The quality of both food and hospitality is unmatched - come and see for yourself! Jim is a passionate, knowledgeable, kindhearted & community oriented individual who will be sure to make you smile. He gave me a tour and named every local town where the food came from but also the backstories of his favorite products, delicious samples included! I forgot that food tasted this good. Great variety of in-season produce and vegetables. The staff was really engaging and helpful - such a perk that they offer chilled samples as well. The seafood/meat selection was fantastic as well. The owner, Jim, is as friendly as they get. He was so kind to serve up some oysters (gratis) as we were heading out. Great place!! If I could give them 6 stars, I would.

The Farm Stand is a VERY special place. Between the high-quality products, and Jim's amazing customer service, I would recommend this farm stand again and again. Jim treated us like family-- teaching us new ways to eat strawberries, and shucked oysters for us on the house. We will be back to gladly support this business. Thank you, Jim!
