Herald Store is a awesome small town place,
Although there’s not very many healthy things to eat there,
All commercial treats, chips, candies, soda, pop, beer, yada yada yada
I still love the Harold store. I just don’t rarely buy anything from the store.

I try to stop in when I am on my way home from visiting my son at Mule Creek State Prison. This store cheers me up for some reason...the friendly old-fashioned atmosphere I think! For such a small space the selection is quite good...last time I brought home some crocodile jerky... I think it was crocodile...and they have teally good frozen cokes! If you go by on sat or sun am you real probably catch the regulars sitting out on the porch solving world problems!!

Herald Store is always fun. It has everything interesting people, beer, soda, treats, cigs and lottery. Fair prices and quality stuff. A park right next to it if you are traveling you can rest a bit. If you are passing through stop, you wont be disappointed.

Nice country atsmophere feeling. I grew up in outskirts of north sacramento, however this hidden town gives you a feeling from the past. My observation the locals are close and friendly, you can find most of the elder farmers relaxing outside the store having coffee, it's a rare experience as now days socializing it's mainly done by millennials in social media. The city and parks are clean. The general store at Harold's brings back childhood memories.

Basic country corner store, they have cold beers smokes a decent variety of snacks and sweets. Doughnuts on sunday as well as local vegetables and friut out front for a few cents to a few dollars. Not to mention shirts and hats with Herald store on them so you can represent your local store wherever you go! They also have ice and tamales..cant forget those bad boys!

Old fashion grocery right out of your childhood. Happy faces greet you as you come in the door. Great prices on 2 liter bottles of soda as well as the coldest beer in town.
