Not to compare the two, but if you were looking for sort of a local In N Out type burger but upgraded slightly then this is the spot! Burger is extremely delicious and will season has a good amount of char but is thin and thick enough at the same time! The fries are superb. Just crunchy yet soft! I have ate here about 3 times now and it doesn’t disappoint! They make their own pickles too!

I have been told about this place for years and finally made it in. The site is an interesting one, for sure. Very nice outdoor seating and a cool back area around the food. Beers are on par, and the food options are pretty decent. The only downside is that the groups, while I was here, are very local, and even the staff will click out and can be distracted by hanging out with them. It's understandable but shouldn't have impacted other customers. Myself and a few other I watched, had the same issue.
Overal still a pretty good place to check out.

Wow ... Great staff ... Hanna and Katie were ON IT!!! Never experienced and empty glass or lack of entertainment. There is food on site and I personally had a Chili Dog with Serrano peppers, onions and garlic aioli. Yumminy

Great beer, wide selection of beer and excellent food. Three Hazy IPAs on tap! The burgers were really amazing, we both had the bears burgers and they were great! Friendly service.

I love this place! If you are in East County and looking for delicious craft beer and delicious hamburgers and fries this is your place. I am a IPA drinker, and they have a great selection. The smash burger was melt in my mouth delicious! They have a newish burger trailer inside the back of the tasting room, and the food is super tasty! The garlic fries were really addicting, I couldn’t stop eating them. There is also extra seating back there that would be good for a large group. I just love a nice, chill place to
drink good beer — with good people and good music!

Good beer and food but they wouldn't pour me a BBA stout because I wasn't a "member." I thought that was a bit strict. I went there specifically for the stout. 👎🤔

This is my favorite place to be on a Friday night. The staff is always kind and helpful. The music always slaps. And the beer is always delicious. It can be on the pricier side if you're not expecting it. But it's worth it in the end. Generally it's $7 a pint, which is manageable. But a basket of french fries is also $7. That's not stopping me from eating them, though. They also have Hot Sauces they make in house. You can buy bottles of these sauces or get a ramekin for $0.50. I'll never not love this place. Burning Beard is forever my favorite brewery.

Dear Ashley Locke... I'd urge you to try coming back with the kids. I bring my daughters all the time. They play outside every time and always get smiles. I guarantee that kids are allowed and you likely just met a grump the first time.

I've actually seen a few reviews saying this place isn't Kid Friendly. I've had the exact opposite experience. My oldest daughter was trying to put my youngest daughter on her back in line for a beer. I profusely apologized to the owner as he tried to walk behind them performing this stunt. He simply smiled and laughed at their accomplishments. We then went to the back of the brewery near the food truck, and they colored in color books with crayons provided by the brewery.
