Really cute place that is a definite must-stop. The prices are great and the diversity in product is so wonderful. You can really get anything you need here. The sushi is AMAZING and they have a great selection. They also have fresh juice, mochi, and more awesome stuff. You can stop here for lunch every day and get something new and yummy. I will definitely be back.

Really great find if you're looking for a kind of 'farm stand' experience. This place has been open for decades, predating the Farmer's Market fad that hit hard late 90's in Los Angeles... and while the pricing is a bit wide-ranging (some deals are absolute steals - some pricing is wayyyyy higher than Trader Joe's, which it shares a parking lot with) -

they DO have a number of more exotic offerings, and then simple American fare like freshly made Tuna Sandwiches and Doritoes. Kind of something here for everyone.

This btw is the definition of a "Mom And Pop Shop" - the kind that used to be on every block in NYC - and that is a nice feeling if you're a bit numb to the overrun crazy Holiday energy at Trader Joe's, Ralph's or Gelson's.

They also have a super cool 'make your own soup' right on the spot - you just pick your ingredients, and they'll whip up a beautiful, generous batch of fresh Japanese noodle soup to go! REALLY great for quick lunches / dinners.

Be aware- parking is the same parking at Trader Joe's - so just be prepared to be patient for 5 minutes finding your spot.

Also: hours vary on different days - be sure to check before heading over!

Definitely a great little find, right in the heart of Sherman Oaks.

They have pretty interesting exotic stuff and it's convenient cuz it's right next to trader Joe's. But I don't like the fact that they have a bad habit of keeping the receipt and not giving it.. or if I do ask for a receipt then it has no information about what I purchased unlike in regular stores, where things are itemized.

We really love this local Asian grocery store. They have fresh produce, sushi, Korean meals/sides, and dry goods. It’s so convenient, saves me a trip to H mart.

Hidden gem, tucked next to Trader Joe's. Tons of freshly prepared Asian dishes, produce, sushi, a juice bar, and more. Every time we go back we discover something new to try. If you appreciate small scale grocery stores with unique offerings, you will like this place.
