It is always worth it!!! I love this place and have been coming here for years. Today we bought three new rose bushes for the house.

The girls were very helpful and guided us to the rose bushes and offered to help.

Great plants with a fair price. They have everything you need except a hole in the ground. They do have a nice selection of pots if you want to select one.

Don’t waste your time in a box store, everything is outside and in common sense locations. It’s just a little tricky finding the turn off, I guess I should come out more often.

For many years I purchased most of the plants, soil amendments, and organics that my clients needed from Kniffing's Nurseries and I kept coming back, not just because they had a huge selection, or great prices, it was also because they always treated me like family. It might sound like they've paid me to write this and indirectly, I guess they did by being kind, patient and understanding of my needs and always helpful. They always made me feel welcome no matter how big or small my order was. I just wanted to write this because it's true and I had a minute to do it.

We enjoyed our visit. We were looking for banana trees, and we ended up finding an edible variety! A very home-y feel type of nursery. Great prices great selection I will be back.

I visit this nursery at least 2x annually as I am from Yuma, about 2 hours east of East County.

I still love this nursery with all my heart. Hands down favorite place to be.

Not sure if it is a side effect of being brown in East County, but I have been asked where stuff is 2x now, by complete strangers. I’m just brown and shopping people. 😑🤣🤣

Got 16 trees from them. One didn’t go from the beginning. Waited a couple months thinking it was going to come along but unfortunately did not. Called and asked if they would replace 1 out of 16. No way said the manager, I waited too long! I don’t know about trees but I do know customer service. It was terrible. So sad over one tree replacement they lost a good customer!

Don’t come here unless you want the people here to stand around watching you struggle to load plants because they will. They barely have any carts and It’s a hassle for them to load heavy plants that require a side by side since one of the workers was asked by another to load a huge agave plant for us and he decided he didn’t want to and drove off so another guy had to load it onto a cart for us. They also under quoted us by $30 on each of them and were already loaded in the truck when they told us. Awful customer service. We wanted a smaller version of what we had in the cart to lower the price and the women just point they were “over there.” So we grabbed what we thought was it and she said “not those ones, those.” Still pointing. She couldn’t even show us where the correct plants were. Ridiculous.
