Beautiful little park but TINY. It's not a trail. It's a little area with a few benches by the water. Only a couple hundred feet long.

The riverfront portion is very nice with new industrial art and plenty of benches for sitting. I don’t understand where the trail is supposed to be, it just leads to a muddy path next to a very noisy and actively used train track? Lots of no trespassing signs along the track so I felt like I was not supposed to be there.

Beautiful little area but giving 4 stars for some expectation setting.

The area itself is beautiful and they you can tell they consistently care for it. One of the best areas to see a pretty sunset too. Nice bench/pavilion area. Ample garbage cans, etc. They have other small touches such as signs (with history and info), subtle art and bird houses. Also beautiful flowers.

Pretty secluded, often the only person or max one or two people/groups unless they are having an event like yoga.

Currently there isn’t really a trail - know the hope is to eventually expand if they get access from the railroad so right now if you try to walk on the “trail” part it is very muddy, right along active railroad tracks and no trespassing signs.

The other reason for 4 stars is I personally have had three different aggressive or potentially aggressive dogs approach me (and my leashed dog) while they were of leash. It is not a dog park and if people can’t control their dogs I feel bad for the dogs being off leash that close to the train tracks. In one case it was a 100+ lb dog that came charging and growling at us while its owner sat on the phone just smoking not paying attention. It is a public space so it is hard to enforce leash laws but I know others who avoid the park for similar reasons so not sure if there is something else that can be done. Again pretty secluded so I think people assume they are safe to do whatever back there.

Accessibility is also a potential issue, specifically parking. The park itself is pretty accessible but the parking would be quite a distance for someone with mobility issues.

Beautiful new space with great view of the river. Looking forward to yoga there this summer. It is a big confusing that there is no trail connection (yet!). There is a parking lot under the bridge which is not super obvious, but there is a sign.

The trail is right beside the train track and is full of stones. My opinion is this is the worst trail I have ever been on.

It may not be official yet, but you can bike from here to Millvale (and beyond!) alongside the train tracks, if you don't mind a dirt trail. Very pleasant!

Area definitely up and coming. Nice new attraction to the area

You can still hike here the trail is only 1.5 miles long you just have to be creative with you're route. I've always walked along here on the tracks to get back and forth to my friends house now there is a much safer route😁
