Cheating small cattlemen. Just breaking even for the last five years except when I took some to glade springs. Last two I took I almost had to pay them. And these are healthy grass fed only slick fat cows. All my neighboring farmers talk about how they should bring good money. We're getting the short end of the stick in the tri cities.

Bad business, they are there for buyers not local farmers. Charge way to much to sell (commission) and not very friendly to farmers. Buyers can walk away (steal cattle with low prices) and Tri state market answers to this is for the farmer to “no sale”and reload and take back home after waiting in line and running though sale that takes hours and hours. Plus run the risk of your cattle catching barn fever and who know what other sickness to bring back to your farm. One of the owners wanted to fight it out in the parking lot when I asked why the low sale price. Weird to talk to a customer that way. Lesson learned don’t go to tri state livestock market.

Our first and only experience with tristate auction and robert Barrett was a disaster!! My wife was bullied and had the door slammed in her face by the sales manager for trying to nosale two calves that brought nothing! Barrett told her to get out, without the calves or the check. Adding insult to injury, they paid us 29 cents/lb less than it brought in the ring! If you trade with these people, be aware!!! Especially if you're a woman.

Rude to farmers when they have questions. Go to glade springs instead. Nicer and less than half commission.

These people are no friend of our local farmers they stole my cattle today than used foul language when i discussed my discussed with them today...pathetic
