This was the second time we've used Mountain Man for a beef butcher and processing. Their cuts order process is super easy, and they even provide a video to guide you through making sure you get the cuts you want! We've been very happy with the product we receive back from Mountain Man and love that they don't use some of the preservatives others do!

The best deer processor hands down!! I would put his venison bolonga up against anybody. This is the best bolonga on this side of the mason dixon line!! Why he's not selling the beef version in stores is beyond me, but you try it and you can't get enough of it. And the prices for his work is very affordable. Thank you all from the Stouffers in Amberson,pa .

Guy raised the prices on me three times after dropping the deer off for processing. Who holds meat hostage? Would never go to again and will never recommend this place. Guys a complete rip off.

Derek and Blake were prompt and did a very nice job. This was my first time using mobile processing as I had an ornery steer. The harvest of the two animals was quick and effective (even with buildings in somewhat close proximity. I used my tractor to bring the animals out of the pasture and to the truck for initial process. They processed the meat and the end results are my happy customers with the end product. It's been about two weeks since they were here and I have already recommended Derek to a friend.

Shares the same traits as the rest if the family as to when you bring something to him that your are paying for. And that is "what is in it for me and is it going to be easy"!! Brought a deer in that was hit by my car. He got angry because the hide was still on it! Funny, do all the animals you butcher have the hides taken off before they come in? He then said it was too warm out to have left the hide on overnight. Again, interesting question to an interesting answer, and that is, it is consistently colder out during the month of March than that of early archery season. So does that mean you require the hides be taken off during that season as well? If you do a beef animal for someone in July or August, are you requiring that they take the hide off? If you are running a business, at least be consistent in your practice.

Maybe I'm wrong but when a customer pulls in to your business do you tell him to wait untill he's done eating before he can help you and then comes out and tells you he has other things to do before he can help you then tells you to relax because you're making his dogs bark?Not the way I would treat customers but I suppose he's doing a pretty good business so he's not worried if he is rude to his customers..won't go back.
