WOW! This place is Beautiful! They have so many native plants to choose from. Steve is such a great person and has an abundance of knowledge to share about all of the beautiful plants that he has. He took the time to tell us about each tree and plant that we were interested in. They have many of the plants that are for sale growing on their property, and Steve walked around with us showing us what the trees looked like as established mature trees on his property. I could have spent hours here! I will definitely be back!

Great place meticulously run by an extremely knowledgeable husband and wife. Lots of native-to-PA plants like pa paws (they'll tell you how you need both a make & female plant if you want any fruit).

Don’t have enough good things to say about this place. Steve is always kind and endlessly knowledgeable. Their selection is truly astounding and pretty much always have everything in stock. Hoping more people start planting native species because there are so many beautiful indigenous plants that I’ve never seen at any other garden center/nursery. I drive an hour and a half to buy my plants here, and it’s absolutely worth it.

The gold standard. They have it all here, at great prices, and any silly question you have for them they'll kindly answer it. They have a website that is extremely useful, showing the plants that are in stock, with what growing conditions the plant needs, including links to profiles of the plant.

Fortunate to live relatively close to this greenhouse, best selection I've found of PA native species in a 2 hour radius.

Steve Kidd has, hands down, the most extensive array of native perennials I've ever seen. The plants are amazingly healthy-- I've never lost one of his (and I've bought many). Steve himself is a wealth of information on what to use in every type of soil and garden, as well as diseases, bloom time and basic garden design. His nursery is a delight to stroll through, but beware! You will find yourself coming home with a tray full of plants you hadn't expected to buy. No buyer's remorse, though-- these beautiful plants will give you great joy!

So helpful and knowledgeable! All their plants are clearly labeled which is a plus and appear healthy. Excited to add some new plantings to help our feathered friends! Hopefully they will leave enough berries for a batch of jam or syrup!
