Don't judge a book by its cover. Once through the doors, you feel like you stepped back in time to a quaint nostalgic bar setting.

Wide variety of spirits to choose from. Largest selection I have seen in quite some time. Food was all hand made and locally sorced. Menu has a wide variety of foods from healthy yummy to greasy delicious. Friendly service. Clean dining area.

We will definitely be back for the atmosphere and the many food varieties.

Good food and great service in this historical building. Stopped in while passing through. We were looking for a place with some outdoor seating and not to far off the path headed north. It was somewhat of a rainy day and there is a side portion of the place that you can still hide from the elements. Menu has nice options for diverse tastes. The beer selection of local and some imports. Arriving to the location, there might be parking out front and you may need to park across the street or in the side neighborhood. Staff is helpful and food comes out to order.

We've found our favorite place to eat!! We moved to the area nearly two years ago, and after a few recommendations, we finally made it out! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service could not have been any better! Very clean and tidy atmosphere as well! We will definitely be back!

Absolute banger of a fried chicken sandwich. Burgers are killer too. Beer is cold and staff is friendly. Cool place, couldn’t ask for more.

Came here for lunch with a friend while we're in Altoona. I got a Cobb salad (it was absolutely humorous), and she got a white chicken chili. For the app, we got burrata toast. Everything was delicious.

This was absolutely the worst SERVICE !!! And very poor food that was barely palatable.

Let's start this dismal Journey. We walked into the restaurant not even to be greeted , found a booth to sit in next to bar. Bartender did not acknowledge us at all , waitresses saw us sit down and did not even address us , another couple was greeted and was escorted to the booth next to us , another couple then was greeted and sat down from us. At this point we are a good 10 minutes in with no acknowledgement or would you like some water. We finally had to ask the server from some water. The waitresses finally came over to our table and handed us menus and asked for anything to drink. We did order some beverages and were looking at menu. When she returned with drinks she asked if we were ready to order and we said yes , she then turned around went to other Table and promptly took the other booth's order and got them their drinks , after delivering those items , she went to other table and took there order and got them drinks !!!!! ABOUSLETY UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
She then came back to or table and asked if we were ready to order !!!! Yes we ordered the Crab Eggs Benedict the brunch special.

Every thing about this experience was Horrible and Insulting !!!

Is this because my Colleague is is of 🇮🇳 Indian descent and is brown This was a form of Racsism that I thought I would ever see. I wonder if it would have been Just me what the outcome would of been

Great place for a yummy meal and drinks. Cute little patio to sit out on during warmer weather. Great service. The waitress was busy but attentive. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I love to every now and then slip in here on a weekday afternoon (recently retired-Yeah!) This past Monday we had a little date there. A wonderful flight of five beers 🍻 and we split a big ol haddock meal. It was really really good. Great service too. Thank you!
