I can’t believe my eyes that there is a beautiful desi store within 40 minutes drive from home! They have a small India in this store. Anything you want from India they have it. Vegetable are fresh and not too expensive. Any Indian spices you may need you will find here. Panipuri, vujia, achar, chatni, fruits, vegetables, pan pashala, Churi, bindia what not? This store is organized in a very nice way that gives a great sense of store management. I hope to visit the store regularly.

I am editing my rating for this store due to a recent experience that I had yesterday. I bought a dosa batter from the store, after coming to home to my surprise the batter was spoilt and had a lot of fungus in it. When I checked the date it was expired. They should not have expired stuff on shelf first of all. But the worst comes after this, when my wife raised a concern, their answer was it is impossible that they had expired stuff in their store making us sound like liars. They do not acknowledge it at all and talk rudely to customers raising concern. I checked previous reviews and was surprised to see lot of similar reviews about expired stuff, but the response from business is ridiculous saying their customers are liars and taking no responsibility even they did not say that they will investigate the matter. They are asking proof, most people do not keep receipts or photos of products, but fortunately I have kept it so I am posting photos of receipt, product and the barcode if they want to make this review look like a false review. PLEASE OWN YOUR MISTAKE AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ELSE SOON YOU WILL LOSE CREDIBILITY. I was a regular customer but not anymore, I won't even go to get a refund. Businesses are made with good customer experience and spoilt with bad. It's an easy choice. Choose wisely.
Also just want to mention, as soon as I added this review 5 star reviews for this store started popping up, so they definitely deal in paid or biased reviews.

The stock quality here is lot poorer compared to what we used to get from Patel’s in Bensalem. Lot of expired stuff labels are being erased and resold here. Don’t fall for the fake reviews. All those reviews are being done by fake accounts from India. The manager and his wife are one of the rudest people and biggest scammers you’ll come across.

The store is biggest in size around the area. Ample car parking , easily accessible from the road. But if you are new to the area, getting in and out of the tabas lane is moderate difficult. Since the traffic flow will be moderate to high. Attached meat shop, restaurent, Togo food in the same complex but run under Asian halal. Apna bazaar itselfs carries fresh produce , Indian grocers , variety of unique Indian items , vessels , frozen section , Pooja items , covered some South Indian snacks. I cannot pick specific product but shelf items check for expiration. Easy to maneuver carts inside the aisles- one way though if some one on your direction (not like many stores around ) Carts are available at the entrance and easy to put it back in place. Active staffs , smile on their face is much needed when facing the customer at POS. Today my checkout staffs was welcoming though. Will recommend anyone to come and take a look of the store and amazed by their collection.

It is a well stocked store for Pakistani and Indian groceries.

Good things

1) kept clean
2) store associates are helpful
3) large assortment of fresh vegetables, spices, dairy products, teas, snacks, sweets, and frozen (roti, paratha, halal kebabs, and vegetarian) items
4) it is right next to meat shop and you can do all grocery shopping at same place
5) good assortment of Pakistani mithai (from rehmat e shireen) is available

Not so good things

1) I have occasionally found expired products here esp. in frozen section
2) mangos that are brought here during summer aren’t as good tasting as you find in other nearby Indian grocery stores
3) no returns without receipt. Their POS isn’t the best and they don’t look up for past credit card transactions. Employees don’t behave nicely for returns
4) checkout lines take long to clear out

One star is only for the folks on cash register. So impolite that sometimes it feels they are trained that way. I only visit this store when I visit Shagun to get meat which is a great store to get meat from. People from Apna Bazaar should learn how to treat people from Nepalese grocery stores or at least from people working in Shagun.
