I called Lake Erie Woodwork to explain my Problem trying to find doors that could fit my extra wide closet(not in a standard size width.) Armando Answered All my questions on a possible solution, depending on the type of doors I was hoping To have installed in the closet. I brought over a sample door, both he and Carlos gave their opinion on what they Could do. After our conversation, I felt completely confident that I was at the right place to do this custom work. I was looking for a farmhouse/cottage style cabinet to use in my laundry room for a utility cabinet. I was hoping to find something antique but nothing was big enough. Armando created this perfect combination for us. It’s super functional but also has the look I was going for! Very knowledgeable and efficient, he had our project ready in several weeks. I’m enjoying my cabinet very much. I love that I can finally be organized!

We had custom bookshelves designed and built by Armando and his team. Not only were the shelves structurally perfect and beautiful, but the entire experience was great. Armando was communicative throughout, sending pictures of the work in progress and letting me come in to see the pieces as they were coming together. This was an all-around amazing experience! Lake Erie Woodworks was super quick to reply to my inquiry for a private class for our “wood” five year wedding anniversary and Armando was beyond accommodating.

We made a gorgeous cutting board, and learned about all the machines, materials and steps involved. Armando is very knowledgeable and such a talented woodcrafter, it was a pleasure working with him.

He is also very engaging, and involved in the community- being from NYC we loved hearing all about Erie! Armando gave us great insights into the history and current events in Erie and also provided us with amazing recommendations for locally owned shops, restaurants, breweries and even a distillery. We will definitely be back, and hope even to purchase one of his beautiful custom-made furniture pieces.

Then I stumbled onto Lake Erie Woodworks and Armando. Armando and his team were so easy to work with. They came up with suggestions and a solution. Within a couple of weeks my project was completed. I met with Armando last April and showed him my ideas and some pictures of what I had in mind for living room built ins. He asked me a lot of questions so that every detail was well thought out. Armando crafted a beautiful table with benches to fit into a side sitting room of our house. We needed to be economical with the space in our cape cod-style house and he was able to bring to life the design that we wanted. The table looks beautiful and is constructed of stained white oak, so it’s now the sturdiest thing in our house.

I would highly recommend Armando for any woodworking job that you want completed with the highest quality.

We ordered a custom-built kitchen table and bench, and we couldn’t be happier with Armando’s craftsmanship! He communicated design, wood options, paint and stain options, and detailing the whole way. Once he finished the table, he delivered everything and installed it, including making some features to the bench (adding an outlet to the front so we wouldn’t lose the convenience of the one behind the bench). The bench has so much storage and all of it is built strong enough to last a century.I can’t believe how affordable it was considering the level of detail he put into it. With such brilliant artisans like Lake Erie Woodworks, I can’t imagine us ever going back to a furniture store ever again.
