The previous Union Train Station in Erie, PA has been tastefully converted to a brewery and restaurant. They kept the charm of the building which can be verified by old pictures scattered around the walls. The Braised Pulled Pork Sandwich is moist and delicious. They serve an “Apparition Ale” - very good BTW. Story goes a dad swung his luggage around to check on his daughter behind him and the little girl was knocked down stairs and died. She supposedly shows up occasionally. There are numerous tunnels under the station that were used to move luggage and such I was told. You can pay to tour them infrequently in haunted tour.

A really fun space in downtown Erie that is inviting and definitely worth a stop for a drink and a bite to eat.
First off, I always get the brussel sprouts. They are well prepared and are covered in garlic oil and parmesan cheese. So good.
The Hopness Monster is my go to beer here and it is solid and consistent.
Overall, this is a must stop in Erie. The old school train station vibe indoors and getting to sit next to an active train line during the pleasant season is an added bonus.

The beers here were great! The architecture alone is worth the visit. A trip back in time. Patrick was our bartender. He did a great job at guiding us through a beer tour!! They tasted great! Some really unique flavors!

Update: second time trying dining here. Extremely small chicken portion. Insane. $16.99 for a piece of chicken smaller than 4” in diameter. Such a rip off. Place needs to step up their cooking. Terrible. Went from 2 to 1 star. Smaller portion of this raspberry chicken meal with rice than on a Wendy’s sandwich. Service was good as in server was polite. Mentioned the chicken was small. Didn’t offer to correct it tho. Always love the ambiance and beautiful building but man can’t believe they charge so much for such poor food. Guess I’ll stick to a burger next time

Original : Mixed dining experience. Overall Allie was nice as server. Good portions. Not a fan they charge for a side of Mayo and also Parmesan cheese- especially when we got the Mediterranean pasta dish for $19 with chicken. You’d think parm would be included- it is at Italian places. Def disrespected by female bartender that ID’d me. I’m not anywhere near 21 and she said it pretty bluntly. And the younger bartender guy is always a bit cocky and rude. Not quite a fan of his vibe. Could be more polite and friendly. Overall love the brewery. But need some more personable staff for such a beautiful and gem of a place. Also disappointed trackside was closed and it’s been super nice the last few weeks. Eries summers are short. It should be open by now mid-May

We have been going to the Brewerie for many, many years. My mom LOVED spending St. Patrick's day morning here.

Today, we had a memorial for my mom. Our family and friends thought this was a great place to celebrate her life and share stories and memories. My mom would have loved that we had just hung out and had good food.

The staff was AWESOME! They were very helpful and nice. They made sure we had everything we needed.

We will definitely be back!

We wanted a unique experience after the day at the beach. This revitalized train station is great, very good use of the old for the new. We had six in our party and the hostess took our reservation and even moved things around so we could dine at 6 and not 7.

We were greeted as soon as we entered, we sat down, ordered and the food was amazing. You have to try the sampler flights, well worth it. A guest has a gluten allergy and they provided the pork sandwich with no BBQ sauce and a gluten free bun. The guest said it was the beat she has had.

All the dished came out hot and we all enjoyed it all. This is definitely worth adding to your list to try. Great atmosphere, service and food and the prices were very reasonable.

I haven't been to The Brewerie in years, but selected it for a quick dinner before a show tonight. Service was quick and helpful! The steak salad was delish and the fries were hot and fresh. Definitely recommend.

Union station is marvelous. We ordered chicken and fish chips. The fries are not crispy, but you could tell they are freshly made. Overall the food is fresh and high quality, and the sever was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
