Everything about this bed and breakfast is top notch. It's a little on the eclectic side, buts that's part of the charm. Linda and her girls are the most welcoming host you will find anywhere. Food is Amish style and yummy.

I would like to first say that Linda, her husband and the wonderful staff set the bar HIGH for great hospitality and cozy future Bed & Breakfasts to come! They made us feel so at home that it felt more like staying with beloved family than at a business.

My mother and I planned this trip to Lancaster, PA a month ago, and I chose for us to stay Equestrian Estates Horse Farm B&B because 1: of its close proximity to Sight & Sound Theater and also because 2: I love horses! We shared the "the Cowboy Room", which was a very quaint, cozy room with a private bathroom. I must say that my mom is not much of a country girl, but boy did she love everything about this place, as did I!

Our first morning, after waking up from a glorious sleep from that comfortable bed, we were served delicious homemade breakfast, and baked Amish oatmeal that my taste buds will never forget! Linda was even gracious enough to give us her delicious recipe, which I will be starting a new tradition to make every chance I get.

I can go on about how lovely experience we had at this blessed place and about the wonderful people we met and all that they did for us, but I would probably run out of room in this review. I cannot express anymore how amazing and a pleasure it was to stay here and the meet our new "family". We are already planning our return soon and with more people.

P.S the animals are just as friendly as the people! 🙂

This is a beautiful home with a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were charming, interesting ladies who prepared an incredible breakfast each morning (oatmeal was fantastic). The granddaughter gave us a tour of the stables which had beautiful horses, chickens and a kitten. We will have lasting memories and conversation of Equestrian Estates and the gracious hosts, even though one said I look mischievous. We felt like family after our 2 night stay.

A unique and quaint experience, Linda was the most gracious host. Breakfast was delicious and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The decor of this historic home was certainly interesting, with something in every nook and corner. We look forward to our next visit!

My wife and I were looking for someplace to stay for our anniversary, what a great decision we made.On our way there our car broke down coming from new jersey about an hour and a half from the Equestrian Estates B and B. We called Linda the owner, thinking she would properly ask for the deposit if we could not make our stay. That was not the case, she was supportive and comforting. Our plan was to stay from sunday July 1st to wednesday, Linda and Dave her husband gave us two free nights. We had stayed at other B and B' s before but this was different. The whole experience was like staying with family . We were blessed to spend time singing with her grand kids , if you want they are always their talk. She will gladly talk and explain to you about everything in there house, from the pictures on the wall to the plate on the table. The food was great especially the amish oatmeal at breakfast. We stayed in the sunflower room great clean beautiful. Linda escorted us the whole property including the horses, which my wife enjoyed feeding every day.We as a family were blessed to get to know them. We will be going back.

Long Over Due Review of Equestrian Estates Bed & Breakfast”| |My husband and I spend five days from June 30 - July 4 2017 at the Equestrian Estates to celebrate our Sixth Anniversary. The whole trip was a planned surprise between my husband and owner Linda. It was a magical experience we will never forget. Upon arriving we were greeted by one of the very friendly staff Dori, who took us up the path to the beautiful flower garden entrance to this amazingly unique bed and breakfast. Once inside we were greeted by the owner Linda whom showed us around the inn and brought us to our room. Each room has a unique theme and Linda has an interesting story to go along with each of them. The inn itself is very charming and is both homey and very comfortable. It sits on an old equestrian stable and farm. The grounds are beautifully manicured with lovely flowers throughout. In back are stables with a fenced in area for their horses. We will never forget our special time in the Amish Country thanks to Linda and Staff Dori and Celine for making us feel like we were family. Each shared their own personal stories with us that warmed our hearts. Each morning we gathered around the very large dining table to share our planned activities while discussing the previous day’s experiences. Breakfast was a delicious buffet that changed daily. Everyday Linda would make her amazing out of this world oatmeal, which guests get to take home the secret recipe for. Linda and my husband secretly planned a surprise activity for each day for me. She was a wealth of knowledge on the “Amish Experience.” She arranged a private day tour of the Amish country led by a personal friend of hers. One evening, we and some of the other guests were invited to dinner at a local Amish family farm where we enjoyed a traditional home cooked Amish meal. Afterwards the mother and her two daughters sang Amish songs to us and then let us walk around their beautiful farm. We went to local farmers markets and to an Amish charity auction. Another day we went to the nearby beautiful Longwood Gardens. Afterwards, we enjoyed the local fireworks display and had special homemade ice cream at a nearby dairy farm. A special thanks to Linda and her staff for making it a truly unforgettable six anniversary stay at their wonderful inn! We highly recommend this exceptional B&B.!!! Mike and Kim

We have come to Equestrian Estates since my 28-year-old daughter was 8 years old. This is the most beautiful home and farm, and the sweetest part of all of it was Linda. She is the kindest, most welcoming person. She made your feel like you were home. The food was excellent and it was so nice to walk around the farm, visit with the horses and the kids always loved to help Dave feed the horses. I am not sure if they still do that. This place was worth every penny and I will return for as long as they are open for business! Love this family and this B & B!!

This is my second year, and I am planning a third, visiting with Linda and the crew. As with my previous experience calm and quiet led to relaxation. It is a wonderful place. This year I stayed in the cowboy room. I felt the tears melt away to memories of my cowgirl childhood and life long love of horses. Thank you Linda for a great time. See you next year!
