Aluminum? I have 4 aluminum trailers, 3 EBY, 2 Gooseneck, and 23k equipment trailer.
In addition, several eby truck bodies. Expensive!! Aluminum !? The first Goose 25 plus 5, total 30 ft developed severe cracks on both sides followed by dove tail rear cracks, located on Both side at 65 thousand miles. EBY addressed the warranty and helped, sending additional bracing ect. We had it repaired ourselves and eby paid. Thanks EBY
I like EBY but the aluminum i question because of harsh road chemicals and road infrastructure. Been in business 33 years and we put these trailers to the test. 19 thousand lbs hauled up and down the highway including first and secondary roads. I will keep you posted on the second gooseneck (20 plus 5 ) and how it performs. 2 thousand lbs lighter and double the price!? just saying… you can’t beat bullet proof steel! aluminum is pretty but we don’t haul live stock or kitty cats. People are great however this is our 2nd Eby bed and the quality of this one is lousy. Noisey and oxided. Truck is kept in garage. Inferior steel and alumnium. Craftsmanship poor. They couldnt get the back up camera to work properly. Disappointed overall.

I was told they can patch an exterior gouge on my great dane that I can hardly see it. They were right. If I didn't know it I would probably not find it. I am very happy with how the repair was handled
