We paid 1,700 dollars for 400 pounds. We took minced meat with minced fats with a little meat. If any humans eat it, it will fall with cardiac arrest and atherosclerosis. As for the meat, bone and fat, more than half the amount is a failed experiment, I do not recommend them at all, and we will often sue them.

After 20 years of being faithful customers, our last black angus steer was switched with a subpar replacement. Our friend has raised two black angus steer for a couple of decades. He fine tuned their diet so the meat was always the highest quality. When he picked up the meat, he questioned them because it didn't look like our normal beef. They swore up and down that we had recieved the correct steers. The look was off as well as the texture and taste. Definitely not our black angus. All that work and feed, gone. Wish we had done a DNA.

Hate to leave poor reviews, but disappointed with how our cow was processed. We asked for thick steaks for grilling, I posted a picture of a rib steak I just grilled. Clearly, not even 1/2" thick. Took maybe 8 minutes to have both sides and center cooked through. All my steaks and roasts I have made, thus far, have had bones still attached. Annoying when I have a crockpot dinner and scooping out pieces of bone. Also we have no Tbone or tenderloins, which was on our order list. No idea where they went. Lastly, the ground beef portion, has steak chunks in it! Definitely weird when making hamburger patties. Packaging is great though! Wish they would've taken better care processing thicker steaks, grounded beef up finer, had some bones removed, and provided us with the Tbones and tenderloins, as ordered. Not a cheap purchase to have an order missing items and not cut properly.

The meat has a lot of fat and bones, and the weight is fraudulent and is much less than what we paid for it. It was the worst experience ever. We paid $1,700 for very bad meat. I do not recommend it at all.

The ladies who work here are really nice. Unfortunately though, we got a ball of lead shot in our ground bison. This is pretty much unacceptable in my book. We also didnt get a very good balance of cuts with our 1/4.

We bought a beef Ebersole's processed. Unbeknownst to us their was a lot of fat which reduced the amount of meat we received. Ebersole's did a fantastic job trimming the beef and giving us good, quality beef

Beware!!! Terrible butchering job. They didn’t butcher the cuts I asked for, most importantly tenderloins or filet mignons as per requested. They claim they were included in the t-bones and sirloin steaks. Or are they? Excuse me if I’m suspicious as to where my tenderloins are. And, to make things worse, all the steaks were cut 1/2 inch thick!! What butcher does that?! Who wants paper thin steaks? Very poor butchering. Totally ruined the best cuts of my cow. I did give them one star because they did package nicely.

Ebersole's does good work. Our meat is vacuum packed and stays that way. The buildings are rough looking. There is no fancy store front to attract your attention. They put down your animals on delivery, so don't expect to be able to drop them off a day before.

As with most butchers, they are busy with deer during hunting season, so plan your animals accordingly.

They don't sell meat on the side. They are only for people who are taking their own meat from their own animals.
